A Ladycat Needs to Keep In Shape


Well as you all know, it was some packed week…lost of partying, great noms, pawsome meowgaritas…whew…and I have to watch my waistline…I lost all my shelter fat this past year…TWO WHOLE POUNDS!!

I started this weekend with my  upper body workout routine…it keeps my paws fast and helps me fight off that unseemly saggy flabby look from appearing on my upper front legs…

This a a favorite workout routine for me…

  3. Typist is jealous, you got to a pawty, drink and eat as much as you would like and have lost weight – she wants to go on your diet!

Savannah, I worry that my housekeeper doesn’t get enough exercise, so yesterday I did the “scratch on the door to the garage” about three times: she gets off the sofa, opens the door for me, then when she is back on the sofa, I come back in, so she has to get up from the sofa to close the door. Repeated at a few minutes intervals between each open/close, I think she got a good workout, although not as good as yours. Your friend Dinah, RWB — reader without blog.

  20. Work it, girl! Concatulations on losing that shelter fat!! You need to talk to Ashton about that. She’s hard to convince to work out because she doesn’t have depth perception, and it’s starting to show on her waistline. But if you can do it, so can she.

    • My fall back must engage with exercise is the red dot. I run a lot and if Mom can’t get me going even with my fave peacock feather, she brings out the red dot. Ashton might like that if she gets a special play time without you , Pierre and Newton hanging aroun…just a thought, paw pats Savannah

  22. TWO punds? wow that’s a lot… concatulations!!! That’s a very good workout, Savannah – you could be the coach of my mom ;o)

  23. Nice workout, S. Even though you are clearly right-handed, you should probably take some time to work the left as well. You don’t want to build all the muscle up on just the one side. You’ll end up looking like those tennis players with one big arm and one small one.

  24. That’s a very good workout you’re having there but I’m sensing you’re not quite as into it as your Mom is 😀 You look like you’d prefer to be taking a good nap after the party, rather than having a feather bounce around you.
