YUP…looking like an Easy Sunday to me…
…just hanging out…
…but then the FLASHBACKS HAPPEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN…last Wednesday…just hanging out in the morning…cool breeze…waiting for them to open the shutters so I can see out better…
…What Dad?…why are you looking at me like that?….
…oh SHRIMP!!!…NAIL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!….
That was me on Wednesday…Dad caught me doing the Relaxicat thingy in my office…and for some reason he decided this was the time to do the ole’ Snatch and Grab and Scruff thingy…Mom was lurking hanging outside our office waiting…with clippers in hand… and they did the unmentionable once again…whacked off my lovely long sharp claws…wicked!!!
So my Sunday is still not EASY…the last guest is yet to leave…soon, very very soon…then the house is once again, all MINE!

Hi Savannah….I’m not crazy about getting my nails trimmed either BUT I also don’t miss getting hung up on afghans and blankies and stuff like that after I’ve had them clipped either! One of those necessary evils I think!

I agree Sammy. Now I don’t get caught in the afghans or carpet. I just am terrified of being picked up, we all wish I wasn’t.
I’ve only had mine done once by the groomer and I didn’t mind it, but I did get lots of treats 🙂
it would be easier if they could bribe me with treats! I don’t like treats! weird, huh?

oh Alfie! What an uncomfortable last 11 days! I am tired of napping! Can you believe??!! The last intruder left Sunday so maybe I can get some play time again. ANd I know if I went out, which I never will, my claws would not be a problem…but just not safe here..it would cut my life very short if I go out. paw pats, Savvy
My nails are always trimmed by the vet (staff is to cowardly) and I hate it. Can you send me your mom with ups overnight for trimming my nails?
MOL. She always did her three Siberians nails too…she fast and accurate, but she has to catch me first

I have two and use them lots. Just makes them sharper. I grow really fast, and they get too long and I get caught in the carpet and Mom can hear me walk on the wood floors going clicking, click
That su … er, stinks! I think it’s illegal for anyone beside the v.e.t. to grab your scruff. It’s dirty pool.
yeah, I know…but it is the only way Mom and Dad can hold me…I just won’t let them pick me up normally…and really need my nails trimmed once a month…sigh

Sheesh–it’s been almost three weeks and my claws are still not at the peak of their fighting form. Sigh.
they always have to tag team me…I just hate being picked up…it scares me to be lifted up AND to be that close to a peep face…wonder what that is all about from my past…hhmmm???

well the last one just left, thank Ceiling Cat!!! We had two individual intruders over an 11 day period…that’s it for the next 12 months at least, if I have anything to say!
Truffle had her nails trimmed yesterday. Now for Mom Paula to catch Brulee to try and trim hers!
ohhhh betcha Brulee already got the “message” and is doing the old UTB for a month!!
