What a week so far!! First, on Sunday, my bestest blogging pal from Nova Scotia Nerissa gave me an award…
The MY FAVORITE THINGS AWARD was created by Nissy to celebrate his milestone of fifty thousand hits to his blog!! WOO HOO!!! GORGEOUS!!!
The Rules:
“There are some things one must do in acceptin’ this award but they’re pretty simple things. All one must do is thank the blogger who gave you the award and put in a little linky to their blog, on yours. Then post the award on your blog and tell all your readers what your six favourite things are. And finally, pass the award on to as many bloggers as you would like. It could be just a couple or lots and lots. Whatever tickles your whiskers.”…so says Nissy…
My six favorite things:
1. I luvluvluv my Mr Scruffy toy
2. Snuggles with Dad and Mom at 5 AM
3. My paw blog, anipal furriends
4. My Peacock fev-vers
5. Tissue paper
6. My Mom
So…thank you Nerissa…and I have linked back to you…and now I would like to pass this lovely award to a few of my furriends who I think will so enjoy the flowers…
Jonesie…The Founder Emeritus and Master Gardener of the Society of Feline Gardeners
Scylla…a master gardener in her own right and my gardening furriend
My Three Moggies…who have just created to most gorgeous new garden…Thank Cod their Mum and Dad had their snoopervision…just sayin’…
Zena…who never tires of spending time in her garden whenever she can…if only she can keep Raffles out of it
Mollie…she never allows her Dad to work in the garden without her help…and her fave part is the broom!
There ya go…I will make sure to let all of them know I have passed this along…thank you Nerissa!
Next…I got a prezzie from MOM!!! WOOT!! WOOT!!
So Mom put in a bid on the auction Miss Marg organized for Miss Laura, Mom to Marigold who dashed OTRB too soon…Marigold was one of The Royals… and I got a fab new blankie…ummm…I may still be just a tad afraid of it..
So much so far to be so thankful for…and then there is all the support from my village of furriends…bloggers, anipals from Twitter and efurryone who has shared my foster brofur Leo’s search for his very own furrever castle…thank you, thank you…Leo will find his furrever castle because of this village…
Leo will find his furrever castle because of all of you…I decided to not even try to name all of you who have helped along Leo’s journey from being near death to survival and now thriving and searching for his furrever castle…you are all a blessing from Ceiling Cat…even if you are a woofie…heh…heh
And so…these are a few of the many things I am thankful for…and so I join Pepi Smart Dog’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop…Click HERE to visit other Thankful posts over the next week…
Now one last thingy…I failed to give Jonesie a garden report last week and I sent Mom out to search for anything new and interesting in my garden…it has been over 100F here for the last 7 days…our garden is struggling…I send Mom and Dad out to water…but it is tough cuz we don’t usually get this kind’a weather for so long…but then…hmmm….what did Dad call it??….oh yes…this “global warming” stuff is showin’ up in lots of ways…just ask my garden…
Anyways…here are some happenings in my garden this week…
Purrlease, if you live in the UK, help find Mary her furrever home! Basil has a PAWSOME rescue story about Mary. And Basil’s Harrington Cat Food will donate one year of cat food to Mary’s new home!
Anipals, followers, friends I need your help.
This is the very lovely Mary that was discovered by the side of the road by our MD’s wife. Aged only 4 – 5 months old she was heavily pregnant and had clearly not been fed in a very long time. Being a company full of animal lovers we went to the rescue and are now happy to report that Mary is well on the road to recovery at Bishopton Vets and enjoying her Harringtons Cat food dinner which we have supplied. Read the full of story of Mary’s rescue here
As with Monty the vets are brilliant, and have taken care at her at their own expense and are now looking after her until she can get a place at our local rescue (which currently has a 4 month waiting list) or ideally find her forever home.
Therefore I plea with you…
