HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I had  to get Mom L to scramble to make sure I got my post  up tonight. We had sooooooo much going on here at my castle today. Replacing your HVAC system is not for the feint of heart, lemme just day that!!

Me, Katie and TKS all stayed confined in our master bedroom. Thank goodness for that. But the noise! and the smells!!  ICK!!!

It’s true. TKS never met a food source she did not devour.  She has gained a pound in about six months. So guess what??? Back on her diet she goes!! Her worst demon is waiting for me or Katie to walk away from our food dish, and then she makes sure Mom L and Dad P don’t see her (remember she is a house panther sleuth) and then she chomps all our remaining food!!! So, back on her diet she goes!!

Mom L helped get this sweet kitten receive it’s first vaccinations and feline leukemia testing, etc., at the Kitchen Clinic where she volunteers for Community Concern For Cats. This is one of the most beautiful kittens she has ever seen!! Never, ever, in the last eight years has she seen a kitten with PINK EARS!!! TOO CUTE!!! And add that stupendous almost purrfect mustacio; and you have the most adoptable kitten ever!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I have three guests today. First up is Senorita Mirabel. She is being fostered by Miss Yazmin until she can find her forever home. Mom L pulled this sweet six year old gal from the park colony our nonprofit Delta View Cats feeds every day. She is just too friendly to be left in a colony. Don’t ya think so??? Sadly, no one has inquired about her since she came into an adoption program in early March.

She sure has her foster wrapped around her dainty little paws!

Next up are two kittens that were at the last Kitchen Clinic Mom L worked a couple weeks ago. They were getting FeLV tested, deworming with pyrantel, flea treatment and their first FVRCP vaccination to get ready for moving through an adoption program.

Not every kitten enjoys taking liquid pyrantel!!

Ah yes—”the position” kittens take to get their left hind leg stretched out to draw a bity bit of blood to use for the FeLV snap test. Over and done in seconds!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I know I missed my Monday blog post, but my typist, Mom L, was out late the night before tryin’ to catch three more kittens! Mom L has only caught one of the four that were next door to us about three weeks ago. Time is running short before they become too old to try to socialize!  Humane caretaking of abandoned community cats and kittens has no time clock on it. I betcha lots of you now all about that, right?

Well I did manage to put together some memes, I hope they make your Friday start with a little smile. If you have one of those cars that is silent running, you will probably get your first smile from my guest, my former foster kitten Toci.

Yup! Mom L has done that once and it wasn’t one of those “silent running” cars either!!! MOL!!!

Even though I am now deaf, I have always, and still do, respond to the sound of a cat food can popping open!! Sigh…great memories.

And that is our foster kittens Laughing Samantha. She is such a clown kitten!! She now rides around on Mom L’s shoulders whenever she gets the opportunity!!
