Awards, Prezzies, A Village of Furriends
HIYA!!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
What a week so far!! First, on Sunday, my bestest blogging pal from Nova Scotia Nerissa gave me an award…
The MY FAVORITE THINGS AWARD was created by Nissy to celebrate his milestone of fifty thousand hits to his blog!! WOO HOO!!! GORGEOUS!!!
The Rules:
“There are some things one must do in acceptin’ this award but they’re pretty simple things. All one must do is thank the blogger who gave you the award and put in a little linky to their blog, on yours. Then post the award on your blog and tell all your readers what your six favourite things are. And finally, pass the award on to as many bloggers as you would like. It could be just a couple or lots and lots. Whatever tickles your whiskers.”…so says Nissy…
My six favorite things:
1. I luvluvluv my Mr Scruffy toy
2. Snuggles with Dad and Mom at 5 AM
3. My paw blog, anipal furriends
4. My Peacock fev-vers
5. Tissue paper
6. My Mom
So…thank you Nerissa…and I have linked back to you…and now I would like to pass this lovely award to a few of my furriends who I think will so enjoy the flowers…
Jonesie…The Founder Emeritus and Master Gardener of the Society of Feline Gardeners
Scylla…a master gardener in her own right and my gardening furriend
My Three Moggies…who have just created to most gorgeous new garden…Thank Cod their Mum and Dad had their snoopervision…just sayin’…
Zena…who never tires of spending time in her garden whenever she can…if only she can keep Raffles out of it
Mollie…she never allows her Dad to work in the garden without her help…and her fave part is the broom!
There ya go…I will make sure to let all of them know I have passed this along…thank you Nerissa!
Next…I got a prezzie from MOM!!! WOOT!! WOOT!!
So Mom put in a bid on the auction Miss Marg organized for Miss Laura, Mom to Marigold who dashed OTRB too soon…Marigold was one of The Royals… and I got a fab new blankie…ummm…I may still be just a tad afraid of it..
So much so far to be so thankful for…and then there is all the support from my village of furriends…bloggers, anipals from Twitter and efurryone who has shared my foster brofur Leo’s search for his very own furrever castle…thank you, thank you…Leo will find his furrever castle because of this village…
Leo will find his furrever castle because of all of you…I decided to not even try to name all of you who have helped along Leo’s journey from being near death to survival and now thriving and searching for his furrever castle…you are all a blessing from Ceiling Cat…even if you are a woofie…heh…heh
And so…these are a few of the many things I am thankful for…and so I join Pepi Smart Dog’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop…Click HERE to visit other Thankful posts over the next week…
Now one last thingy…I failed to give Jonesie a garden report last week and I sent Mom out to search for anything new and interesting in my garden…it has been over 100F here for the last 7 days…our garden is struggling…I send Mom and Dad out to water…but it is tough cuz we don’t usually get this kind’a weather for so long…but then…hmmm….what did Dad call it??….oh yes…this “global warming” stuff is showin’ up in lots of ways…just ask my garden…
Anyways…here are some happenings in my garden this week…

Happy 4th to Savvy and your sweet Mom and Leo too. You have all been so kind with all your visits to check on us. We know you understand the pain as you have been through it as well with your past sibes. It is so hard, isn’t it?
We want to thank you so very much for your kind words of comfort and friendship after our very sudden loss of Thunder. We are all still very sad, but the support and love from all of our friends from all over the world is helping to heal our broken hearts. We are sure that Thunder Dunder is now in a very happy place and also very thankful to have so many wonderful friends.

Sorry about all the hot temps your flowers sure look pretty though despite the heat. Congrats on the award! Happy 4th of July! You all have a great weekend. Hugs and nose kisses
100 degrees? Wow! Icky, I should think. And I thought it was hot here. I was wrong. I’m gonna ask the weather man to send some cool Canadian breezes down your way, okay?
Hot or not, I think your flowers look pretty fab.
Oh, and I see that Leo likes a little tissue paper, himself. You teach him that? Bet you did. Smart move, I should think.
Like the blankie! Looks good with your fur. Is it still scary? You just need to put it in its place, that’s all.
Purrs,
Nissy
Happy 4th you guys! I’m still crossing my paws for Leo to find his forever home.
very pretty flowers
Happy 4th, Savvy! That blankie looks like it’s going to be comfy once you decide it’s ok to sit on. We’re hoping that all of the networking we are doing helps spread the word to the perfect home for Leo. We’re crossing our paws for him… and for you to get your peaceful home back again.
Concatulations on your award. We got that one too. Mommy will post about it later today. Your garden looks great even with that hot weather. We’ve been having buckets of rain, so everything here is growing like topsy! Very nice after a couple years of draught. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Congratulations! Your favorite thinga came in an interesting order, Savvy :o)
I like tissue paper too – specially in red or blue or green – I always look interesting after my shredding-game. Have a great independence day together.
Hi Easy. I am currently hiding downstairs and avoiding my bedroom where Mom, Dad and I always spend on hour or so reading papers, bloggies …and then Dad started closing the door….I guess I feel trapped…he was letting Leo out. So now I don’t go,in the bedroom, not even to sleep at night and I never go into my tent anymore. Not good Easy. I feel bad for Leo too…sigh
That sounds not good Savvy. It’s a difficult situation for all. I wish I could help or do something. If, please send me a sign via teleport tunnel or mail.
Congratulations Savvy what a pretty pretty award!! and what a beautiful blanket pressie…I get a bit wary of new things too..but everything is new until it’s old 😉
And we also love to see Leos pictures he is all over the interputer world 🙂
His people are out there looking right now I can just feel it in my waters 😉
Have a beautiful day and loveeee the picture of the Hibiscus or my my grandma used to them High-biscuits 😉

Happy July 4th Savvy……Congrats on Nissy’s new award – we were honored to receive it from him too…..we are all part of such a lovely blogging community with such good friends. We are hoping like crazy that all the networking we’ve been doing will eventually result in a wonderful new home for Leo. He’s such a handsome guy and he looks so very happy and healthy at last. Your garden has so many pretty flowers in it! Mom’s is struggling too – we’ve had a ton of rain so it’s nice and wet but NO sun is just as bad as NO wet!!! 😀 Hope you and your family have a nice holiday………..
