HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Well, most of you know that Mom L dashed across country for FIVE hundred thousand years! Just to attend this Bark and Meow World Event…whatever, I say!
AND…Dad P dashed off to some other foreign place called REENO for his stoopid club stuff and he was gone for FOUR hundred thousand years!!
Yeah, yeah…we had our live in pet sitter Miss Heather…but I don’t snuggle at night with anyone but Mom L…
So I waited…
Where is she??
I tried to be pleasant with Miss Heather but it wasn’t my best “so nice to have you here” face…na’ mean??
Who are you and what have you done with my Mom L??
Then when Miss Heather was trying to give me my snack…she caught me getting ready to give my pal Nanuk my ususal smoochie before I eat…now she thinks I was sticking my tongue out at her!!! *slaps paw to forehead*
No, no…I wasn’t sticking my tongue out at you!!
Sigh…I just could not win.
But now The Kid Sage…she did her usual flirty purty moves and gave Miss Heather her goo goo eyes…what a suck up!

Now I am going to let Mom L share her trip…she is not feeling great so this is going to be a short one…
Mom L: Hi everyone…I wish every single anipal Nana and I have, whether it be bloggers, Twiiter or Face Book pals could have been with us in Atlanta. What a blast!!! And I DON”T necessarily mean the conference!!
I don’t know the last time I laughed so much and so many times that I had tears in my eyes. We had lots of fun, not always in sessions, but just getting to know one another more and more.
I was invited by some dog pals from Twitter to join them for lunch my first day. I arrived before anyone I knew really well and I so welcomed their kindness. I had lunch with @niqqi and @carmapoodle. They were the best behaved woofies at the whole conference IMHO!!!

And there were too many opportunities for photos so I just gave up and enjoyed. Here are a few I thought you would all enjoy seeing…the two kittens, Stoli and Sangria, were keeping Miss Jeanne company as they are her fosters right now and *hint, hint* THEY ARE OPEN FOR ADOPTION!!! You can follow them on Random Felines and you can find my real BFGF Cathy Keisha on her blog Stunning Keisha. Of course Waffles lives at Glogirly with Katie, my gal pal.
I also was able to capture some fun photos of another adult cat in attendance, Mr Waffles. As you can see from this photo series, he is just like any other cat…he puts his tocks on one leg at a time, and he is curious and loves dark places. Really, a regular mancat!

Savannah: Ok, up to me to wrap this post up. Mom L is back to her ice pack on her sore muscle on her back. I hope to get a few visits in tonight and tomorrow AM so please don’t count me out of this community yet!!!
And as you all know…all my waiting paid off…Mom L did return…but she got a stink eye before she got any purrss…heh…heh
So, you’re back…what did you bring for me?

Glogirly had a GREAT time seeing you! …and I’m not surprised Waffles just hopped on into that suitcase. My question for you is “why didn’t you zip it shut???” …and then take it with you. I was really getting used to being an only cat again.

Bwwaaahahahaha Katie! My Mom would NEVER bring another brat cat into my castle. I have my own called The Kid Sage…better I ship HER to Waffles! You can come love with me in CA…glad you are feeling better and Mom enjoyed hanging with GG and all the other pals.
Sounds like your mum had lots of fun cavortin’ with YOUR pals but I bet you sure are happy to have her home.

Oh Savvy I know how wonderful it is to have your Mom back……seemed like FOREVER I’m sure! My Mom can be gone for one night and it seems like MONTHS! I hope she brought some fun swag back for you and Sage….you deserve it – especially since she was unfaithful….sniff sniff…..

Hi Linda – when I have back aches (only after extreme days, like sitting on the ground for hours in a queue) I usually put on some HOT packs, to make the back muscles relax – especially over night with some pain killers – and that does the trick every single time. Ice? Only when there is a swelling to be fought.
Savvy, I KNOW your human brought home lots of amazing stuff for you and Sage! So much that I’m sure you will be sharing with some rescue kitties, I bet. My human enjoyed seeing your human at MeowWorld… except she did not get to see enough of her! It was a crazy and fun three days. I hope your human’s back feels better soon.
