Dona Nobis Pacem #blog4peace
OUR WORLD IS IN TURMOIL
Humans are in conflict across many geographical regions. We write today to join the global blog effort to promote peace across our world.
Today we join the blog blast 4 peace.
I, Savannah the Cat—and I, Mom L, the human—believe that Margaret Mead said it best:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ~Margaret Mead
We offer to you, our readers, for consideration, a human who is daily demonstrating what true peace can look like. Caring for humans and companion animals in a war zone.
Can’t we make this man’s commitment our own? Just asking—
The Cat Man of Aleppo
This human has been working diligently to save both the stranded cats, and some woofies in the war torn Aleppo. He also works endlessly to help humans in need, for both food, medical care and even providing young children a play area near the cat sanctuary.
Please do consider visiting the Face Book page for this amazing human who is a model for Blog 4 Peace.
If you have green papers to donate that is great, but mostly just consider SHARING TO SHOW YOU CARE.
I am so moved by this post…and now I read today about the tragedy there.
Thank you for making us aware of this very brave man. God bless all.

Excellent post and message.
I love people like the cat man of Aleppo who see a need and try to meet it. Love Margaret Mead’s quote too. Great post.
Such a beautiful globe and message, Savvy. Now, more than ever, peace is what we need. Thank you for blogging for peace.
The most beautiful graphic I’ve seen so far, Savvy! And your Margaret Mead quote is wonderful.
The Aleppo human is amazing and so is your beautiful Peace Globe Savvy. Count us in for peace!
What a pawsome Peace Globe, Savvy. (Now we know what Mom L was working so hard on…she did GREAT!) In this day and in this world, sharing stories of peace are so important.
I wish more of my cat blogger pals like you had pawticipated. so disappointing to see very familiar names not bothering.
We don’t know how you did that, but your graphic is absolutely beautiful! Bless that man in Aleppo. And all others who do similar, wherever they may be.
Best Peace graphic yet. We had read previously about the man in Aleppo. He is truly an angel on earth. Mom says that she has peace in her own life (despite some not too great things happening with Fiona and her) and that she must be content with that while she prays fervently that others in the world can find their own individual peace as well as peace among their peoples. It saddens us so much the conditions so many humans must live in due to wars and terrorism. Way to go to get the word out Savvy. This is the most amazing peace globe ever with a great message.
awwww BFGF you are too kind. We worked hard on this one for sure. The message eluded us for a while and then Mom L and I finally got it going
We are all for it!
Lily & Edward

Pit

hugs to this man who has a heart for animals even in worstest times… Peace is easier to create than war, no one will die and no one will be hurt… I hope the people will see this once… before it is too late…
I doubt anyone could not be moved by what is happening out in Aleppo and the resilience of compassion to such atrocities. Thank you for a wonderful post, we will be visiting FB page and donating too. purrs ERin
