HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Never ever in my whole life in my Princess Castle forever home have I wanted to have anything to do with human’s food.
Until Mom L made a scrumptious beef pot roast!!
Sniff testing
Mom L put her dinner tray on the coffee table after her dinner the other night. I was on the sofa next to her. Within a minute or so I did something that shocked the heck outta Mom L! I actually approached that tray, one paw on the coffee table, then another, and one more until I have all four paws on that table!
And yes!! I did in fact INHALE!! And it was glorious! So of course I was forced to nibble a bit.
Just a nibble to see if it is tasty
And then I could not help myself, I started to chomp and gnaw and slurp—well you get my meaning, right? Finally I was forced to flee my prey because I had that chunk of beef roast fat in my jaws and was ready to drag that prey to the floor to do more than inhale.
I am taking you to the floor my yummy morsel
Now do any of you think that my behavior was at all unTuxie like??

BFGF, your Mom L, I regret to say, was very rude. She should have cut that morsel into pieces so you could eat it without dragging to the floor. I’m sure that’s what TW would have done. NOT! I didn’t think you liked beef either.

Hey, they left it out, right? I’ve learned my lesson with Bear. He’ll lick just about anything (Oreos … spaghetti sauce …) … and walk off with anything that suits his fancy. Poor guy doesn’t get a chance anymore since I know all his tricks!
I sometimes find human food totally irresistible…..Mom is amazed at the variety of stuff I will “try” when she’s fixing dinner. I love cooked hamburger…..love deli meats of all kinds……Crazy huh? I wasn’t always like that either – just the last year or two.

Well done Savvy! We had a cat who was very partial to human food. One day she was sitting at a chair by the table. She reached up a paw and hooked a duck leg off a plate and dragged it to her lair 😉
MOL Our tuxie cat Whiskers once jumped up and ate the ham right out of Mommy’s sandwich while Mommy was still eating it from the other end. And Socks has been known to get on the table a time or too.
I think you may be turning into a doggie, S. That was very doggie-like behavior. Plus that dinner sounds YUMMY! I don’t know a doggie or kitty who could resist it. Well done.
