Autobiography of a Former Shelter Cat

How busy is “busy”

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!

I just have a quick flash to paw up this blog post to let you know that Mom L, Dad P and their “founding volunteers” for Project Delta View Cats are off to a rousing start!!

Mom L and Dad P started trapping at a resident’s site near us and they caught four cats, then the experienced cat trappers in our “founding volunteer” group picked up the pace and caught five more!! There are still a couple of stand offish cats, a bit “trap shy”—but our skilled community cat trappers and care givers Miss V and Miss J will catch them and get them S/N and back home in time for supper!!

Here are some of those already “fixed” and who will produce no more cats in this small colony, If not for Project Delta View Cats, these cats would have easily taken this small colony of about eleven now to about twenty to thirty by the beginning of Fall this year!!

TNR ROCKS THE COMMUNITY CAT WORLD!!!

And this little kitty sleeps under the neighbor’s Cosmos shrubs—she is going to be high on Mom L’s list to trap this week!!

That’s how we do “busy”! How do you “do busy” in your home??

  11. Well done, Mom L and Dad P and all the other volunteers.
Busy around here means Mummy has concerts and other events with her Caterwauling Club friends coming up in the near future and that means that not only does She leave Us all alone when She goes out to rehearsals but also, that We have to listen to Her purracticing around the house all day!!!

  12. Oh, that is very busy indeed, and all very good results too. Oh bless, that little tux needs to get a home and seen to very soon. I do hope you can temp her to come in and get fed and snipped.
Around here, busy involves trying to edit books and write new stuff as well as look after Mrs H. Not nearly as productive as you guys though.
