Here ya go my pals—Friday smiles are back again! And our foster Kit Katie sure is adding some spice to our lives!
Yup! KK is learning fast just what “hiss” smells like and she is gettin’ em up close and personal. She is getting right up to us before we hiss. Heck, it’s hard to not kind’a feel for the little kid. We know she just wants to be friends and snuggle and all that stuff. But as for me, I am just not gonna have it.
Even though my humans don’t do that “work” stuff anymore, I still don’t think Monday’s outta be allowed on the calendar! What do you guys think?
MOL!!! KK is just not gonna leave well enough alone! First she “casually” stretches out her legs thinking I won’t know what her real motive is. And yes, she got a hiss and a “fake” smacky paw outta that one.

Yup, some weeks every day is a Monday around here… but as a pragmatist, I realise if I have weeks of Mondays out the way I will eventually get weeks of Fridays and weekends, too, MOL

I love the memes this week! I will say, my human is one of those weirdos who always loved Mondays – she also liked going to school, and hated being off during the summer.
Poor KK. At least she has you to hiss at her. We have a new kitty next door who moved in March 1 and then her peeps left the country. TW is beside herself cos the kitty is so stressed, it sits by the door and vocalizes all day and night. Kitty is all alone in a strange place with strange smells. TW is kinda hoping Kitty will start thinking “outside the box” and destroying their new leather couch so maybe the cat sitter might be open to talking to TW and the other concerned neighbors about ways to help kitty. TW keeps reaching out to no avail. It’s gotten so, TW hates to leave our unit cos the kitty is breaking her heart.
CK, my BFGF, Mom L and I have been following TW’s efforts for the apartment kitty. We encourage you both to reach out to anyone who can get you access to that kitty. It is likely suffering separation anxiety and desperately needs human company for more than a few minutes a day. Please consider contacting your local animal services. IF they are not compassionate, then maybe TW can contact the owners by complaining to the condo management about the “noise” the kitty is making???? ANd then she can wait to pounce on the kitty feeder and talk with that person. SIgh. Humans are not very smart when it comes to kitty care taking
sometimes.
