Autobiography of a Former Shelter Cat

Friday Memes for Friday Smiles

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

We have had one busy, busy week plus here at my castle. We have been trying to help so many abandoned community cats in our area find comfort and medical treatment. And we are doing this in a hostile work relation with our public animal shelter. I won’t go into the details.

Here is one of our new abandoned kitties at our River View Park colony where we feed now 14 cats one yummy meal every single day of the year!

Next up is my own contribution to this week’s memes. Ya, see—I have Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and it is finally starting to become more advanced. But I refuse to let this hold me down! I will continue until I leave for The Bridge to work steadfastly to help our local abandoned community cat have better lives than what the humans intended who threw them all away like trash!

Lastly is my forever darling Mandi. Mom L and I trapped her with her kitten back in 2017. Our first abandoned community cat rescue work in our new home neighborhood. Unfortunately, darling Mandi was not willing to be socialized and brought inside for adoption. She is such a precious spirit. Her kitten was adopted and  Mandi’s dedicated feeder/caretaker tends to her every need. We are noticing that, given she has a white face, that she is starting to develop what looks like skin cancer. We will make sure she is cherished and loved through whatever happens with her

Do you know any calendar cats?

Savvy we send purrayers and POTP to you and Mandy to deal with any health problems and we send the same to all those helping those precious community cats. How sad about the local shelter being so obstreperous !
