The above is our foster adult cat Seniorita Mirabel. She has been in a foster home for nine months. So sweet and loving and gentle. She has now been adopted two times and returned because she is “too shy”. Mind you, both adopters had her for less than 96 hours. Please send Mirabel your “high fours” in comments to send positive energy to boost her morale. We do not know how many more times she can stand being returned.
This is a backyard adult cat named Tiger that we helped get his entropion eyelid surgery done about two years ago. He now rules his caretakers backyard!! What a hunk!!

Those were really cute and I sure hope sweet Mirabel gets her happy super soon.
Oh – a high four right back to Mirabel ! We took in a cat that the owner was allergic to and she stayed out of sight in the basement for a year ! I knew she was alive because the food and water were gone and the litter box used (and they were where the other cats had no access). Then one day when I went down to put out food and talk to her she came and wanted pets. After that she was integrated.
It takes special people and a special heart to love and understand kitties.Not everyone can adjust and it takes patience and lots of understanding those fur babies.
I think a hand is coming down to give you a pat Savannah 😉
I am sending BIG purrs for Mirabel to find the right home. Th other two could not have been real cat lovers!!!

Cute pictures! High fours to Mirabel! Poor sweetie. Cats can certainly take a long while to adjust to a change of place. They will be much more outgoing when given time to settle in.
Oh, Mirabel, we think those first ‘homes’ just did not understand you needed some time to get used to all the new stuff that come with them. And for sure if they don’t know that about kitties, they likely don’t much at all, and you deserve better.

High fours to beautiful Mirabel. We are sure her true forever family will come along soon. Those people who returned her for being “too shy” are looking for a toy, not a companion – and are unworthy of her. All will turn out for the best. You’ll see!
