Friday Memes for Friday Smiles

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

My first of the year 2022 Friday Memes are from guests. I hope they carry all of us through this New Year to peace on our small globe of life in this universe. And my purrayers are that humans will finally, in this coming year, cease to ignore the dire plight of all abandoned community cats. I know, I know—many of my readers say “why can’t you ask for this for all abandoned domesticated animals”?

And I say “because in my USA, we “former” abandoned community cats (aka “Me”)—are the most at risk from this thing that our public animal shelters are calling “Community Sheltering”. This is supported by academicians and public animal care with little to no input from our treasured, in the field, TNR cat trappers.

First up is a Master Yogi, rescued abandoned kitten—now living the good life!

Next up is my new sisfur, Eowyn. Dumped in a city park.

And now you have a message from our colony cats, proudly cared for by our Delta View Cats all volunteer, nonprofit, group in Pittsburg, CA.

They know peace. With each other and with humans, if only humans will allow them the time and care to return to humans’ promise that every cat will have a home. Just sayin’—

Friday Smiles from our Chrissymouse day

HIIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I am changing up my usual Friday Memes for Friday Smiles in hopes of giving you some smiles by sharing how all six of us kitties in my castle enjoyed our Chrissymouse Day! And I am revealing our Secret Paws gifts and the identify of our Secret Santa Paws!!

First up is revelation of our Secret Paws for 2021! Lola and Lexy from Lola the Rescue Cat. We were their Secret Paws in 2020; small world, eh?

Our prezzies were all wrapped so pretty and they all had labels so’s I would know which ones were mine who got what. Mom L found some pretty holiday happy hour napkins and this cool ice cube maker that turns the ice into the heads of cats!! And we got this way cool tunnel that Eowyn and Katie and our foster kittens loved!

We all super enjoyed opening our Secret Paws prezzies.

And then we got to open our special stockings!

And our foster kittens Arwen and Frodo shared in the festivities by checking out their very own little stockings.

I hope you have your Friday Smiles on from watching us enjoying our Chrissmouse Day. We hope all of you had a meowvelous special day and that your New Year will be bright and healthy!

Friday Smiles for Chrissymouse Eve

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Here we are. Chrissmouse Eve Day. Are you ready for some holiday smiles? I asked each resident and guest of my castle to please submit to me their purrsonal meme for this special day. I sure do hope you will let me know if they all followed through and helped you get on your smiles!!

Me first, of course!

And you all know I am right!!

Sage has it so right! Waiting, anticipating—the excitement of Secret Paws gift exchange; who could ask for more than that?!

Precious little Katie will soon be out and about in my castle so’s that Mom L can start capturing more photos of her bootiful self. Paws crossed that 2022 sees sweet Katie’s claw sheaths infection free!!

And there you have it! This is why having a teenager in a house of adults is such a trial!! And yet, Eowyn gives Katie such good times when they play. That is worth every moment of fear as to what Eowyn will get into next!!! MOL!!!

Our foster kitten, eight month old Arwen, is such a character. Can you believe that we have not had one person inquire about adopting her and her bonded brother Frodo? The challenge is that here in northern California, we have had no end to kitten season this year. People still want the itty bitty kittens. Sigh

And crazypants Frodo!! Arwen’s bonded brofur. Hope you have some Christmas Eve smiles going. Please do share in comments if we helped you get you holiday spirit on!!
