Monday Meowsie News…
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
So many things to share…hmmmm…where to start???…(tapping paw…up, down, up, down…)
OH!!! I know…let me start with something really new!! A brand new AWARD…already flying around our Word Press Furramilies!! I was given this pawsome award by three very special furriends on the same day! Woo Hoo!!
Nylablue, one of my special CFGFs (Canadian Feline Girl Furriend) and good furriends Peace, Love and Whiskers…and the lovely Binky, Angels Whisper…all gave me this lovely award…
As always, I am honored to have a furriend think of me…especially as being a part of their furramily…very special. I am supposed to thank the furriend who passed it to me…DONE…Next, I am supposed to pass it to 10 other WP furriends. My thinking is that I might have maybe 9 furriends who don’t have it yet…so I hope that’s OK…
Cupcake Speaks…the cutest little woofie…you simply must read her blog
Sundae from These Days of Mine…Sundae’s Mom takes beautiful photos of the area they live in
Tiger, from Growl Tiger…he is just the most handsome ginger and white mancat ever…well, except for Sammy my mentor…
Jessie, from Jessie and Janey, my “down under” gurl furriend…whose blog is like magic…please visit her
Sage, from the Misadventure of Sage…she is the most mud luving woofie I know!
Mica and Lexie, Tylersat99’s Blog, two of the best looking Newfies you will ever find…
Basil from Basil’s Blog…he is the STAR for Harrington’s Dog and Cat Food in the UK…and he and his family have helped save a special kitty, Miss Mary…do visit to learn about her purrlease…
Jay, My Jazz Cat furriend for so long…at 9 years old he learned to appreciate his new sisfur, my sweet niece Satchie
Satchie, my sweet niece who will be celebrating her first GOTCHA DAY along with her brofur Jay who will celebrate his as well on May 17
Next in my news…you may not all know but last weekend Mom and Dad did a quick “get-away” to visit friends in Southern California where Mom and Dad lived for 20 years before coming back to Mom’s home area in San Francisco Bay area…(they have been here for 10 years now)…
Anywho…I thought you would like to see some of the Palm Desert area where they visited…and meet a new cat, woofie and even a hummingbird!!!
…and now here is what that desert looks like…NOTHING like where we live now…just sayin’…
That’s my Monday Meowsie News for now…I have some other stuff I wanna share…but later this week…I have been totally ROCKIN’ in some new behaviors…who knew??!!!

Hi Savannah! Congrats on your award! And those desert pics are cool…or rather, should we say hot?? 😉
Hi guys! I bet that desert looks different from where you live!
Hi Savannah today was our human Dad’s Birthday so we had to make sure he has a great day. We popped over to see you to thank you for giving us this wonderful award. We feel very honored that you thought of us and we are among you furfriends. Thank you again:-)
We are furramily! Happy B Day to your Dad!
Ha ha ha–I stared at that ceiling fan for the longest time and thought, “Well, I guess the crazy Peeps there call their ceiling fan a Hummingbird….” and then I finally saw her!! So adorable!
The Human spended a lot of time in Palm Springs and still has a couple friends in Palm Desert, though she swears she will only go there between November and February now, MOL! Your Pawrents was brave! How hot was it???
Haha! Mom thought they were still safe going in April but it was already low 90’s! They will only go now in November-March!!
Thanks for the award!
That Marmalade mancat looks just like me!
Concats on that great award Savannah and oh those pictures of the desert were fantastic!
Concatulations on your award, Savannah! Palm Desert is a ways from us, but close enough for my human to take a day trip – it’s somewhere she’d like to visit.
That is such a pawsome award! Mes was going to send it out, but me had Funky Friday and poof! Everybody already had it!
Love ya-your other Canadian grrlfriend

Congrats on your very nice award, Savannah. And beautiful pics from Mom and Dad’s trip. Our human brother lives in Southern CA, used to live in the San Jose area. And now he is on work assignment in the Dallas/Fort Worth area – he sure gets around.
Molly and Marmalade look like some nice furries.
Hope you have a superb week ahead.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Hi Guys! San Jose is not far from me and Mom worked a consulting gig in Dallas for about 10 years, on and off…not her most fave place to be MOL!
That’s a pawsome award, Savvy! And thanks for thinking of little ol’ me. I’m off to find some of that mud today!
Thanks so much, Savannah on the award – thank you for presenting it to ME; Motor Mommy also received it from another blogger, but now I have my own. We’ll write an acceptance post soon!

Concatulations on your award. Well deserved. Our human dad’s brother lives in Palm Desert. The humans have never been there. Mom says that the mountains are gorgeous. Have a great week. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
it is lovely there in the Winter. By now it is already over 100F!!
Nice pictures. 🙂 congrats on the award sweetie
Congratulations Savannah!
I’m a bit worried about the baby birds on that ceiling fan, I hope it won’t be switched on until after they’ve flown the nest!
Oh no worry. She did same thing last year. And they never turn it on while she is there. Mom saw her 3 babies last year! Our friends never use that fan or go out the patio door at that end of their patio. And, they are retired, no kids to bug Mom Humer
That’s good. I’m glad to hear they’ll be safe.
Congrats Savannah…and lovely pictures for a monday 🙂
The desert is lovely but the HuMom can’t imagine living there. Which is no to say she wouldn’t try it, just that it is outside her limited imagination. We like the idea of lots of sand but the HuMom keeps worrying about having air conditioning. (Silly HuMom! You have A/C in Pennsylvania! Why wouldn’t you have it in the desert!) Geez! Is you HuMom a worrywart too? (Oh heck! Now she’s worried about warts! Somebody put a net over her, Please?)
Take care Savannah, we will look forward to your news later in the week.
Purrs,
Mistletoe & Hitch

Concatulations Savvy! It’s a way cool award……I’m ever so grateful to have received it too. Love the photos of the “desert” and your parents’ friends animal kingdom (!). Have a pawsome Monday!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Congrats on the award Savvy! Love that we’re all family:-)
Mrs. Hummer is living on a fan? Ok, to get fresh air is important :o) … and the name of the kitty is really Marmelade? Like the song:Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir? That’s funny :o) Concatulations to the award, now we all are a family – great, huh?
She is living on an “outdoor” ceiling fan. People in the Palm Springs and Palm Desert have to have outdoor fans on their patio covers cuz it gets so hot. So the hummers seem to like to make nests on the fan motors. Our other friends down there also have outside fans and a hummer who comes every year to nest on one of them…she has been there like 5 years now…cool, huh Easy
That’s really cool – but hot for the people… but I would sweat with joy if I had such a cute Mrs. Hummer :o)
us too Easy. We feed the hummers, but have never ever had one make nest in our yard where we could see it. They are truly little miracles to see. And did you know, they use spider webs to make their nests because when the eggs hatch and the babies grow, the nest expands!! Smart birds too; isn’t Mother Nature brilliant!
