How Do You Help Your Humans?

As most of you know, our humans are always in need of close snoopervision and often require us to take an active part in prepping our blog posts.

I have been attempting to train The Kid Sage (TKS) to assume most of these duties as I, personally, do not like getting that close to Mom L on her desk. For TKS, obviously, no problem.

Are you really going to use THOSE photos? *shakes head in disbelief*

Are you really going to use THOSE photos? *shakes head in disbelief*

As you can see, Mom L requires close snoopervising when it comes to putting together one of my blog posts. TKS is really coming along nicely in her training. She is learning to get involved up close and personal with Mom L.

Unfortunately, TKS is still young and has a rather short attention span. She can often get distracted while engaged in a work session.

What's up there? Can I get a closer look?

Mom L: “Sage, don’t you dare try to climb my shelving!”

oh!! Tissue!! I love tissue!!!

oh!! Tissue!! I love tissue!!!

Mom L: “And you leave those tissue in that box where they belong!”

As you can see, TKS and Mom L do have some work breakdown every now and then but under my careful guidance and coaching, I am sure they will work more effectively and efficiently…*please Ceiling Cat let this be so*

Paw Pats, Savannah

peeEss…Mom L goes into hospital tomorrow, Thursday, December 11 for a total knee replacement surgery. She will be in hospital for 3-4 days. I have been making sure she has my blog posts scheduled to run through her recovery period which will likely be through the New Year. My apologies for not being able to visit at all from December 11 to at least December 26. Perhaps by then she will have a functioning brain back. If you have ever had such a surgery or know someone who has, then you know it is a great big ouchie owie!!! Dad P will try to get some photos of us girls as we take care of Mom L. Miss Julie, from Sometimes Cats Herd You, is going to help Dad P try to post the photos, at least on my Face Book page.

I am going to re-post four of my interviews from my Real Rescue Cats and Dogs Are Talking series. I know some of you may not have seen them before. One has some updated information.

Now about my Holiday Cards. We have sent as many as we can, but Dad P is doing this so he doesn’t have all the addresses from last year. I am very very sorry that I will likely miss sending my Holiday Cards to all my furriends…but I have created a card to post on Chrissymouse Day. ..I hope you will understand that it may be the only card some of you receive from me. Thank you for your furriendship and understanding.

  22. I’ve had knee replacement surgery on both my knees. Tell your Mom that rehab is very very important. You must help get to work very knee so it gets the flexibility back. I know your and the kid Sage will do your best to help your mom get back to normal.

    • Thank you. mom had first one done 4 years ago and she is a tiger about her physical therapy. She also has kept at the gym with Body Pump and spin classes and tread mill, etc. so her muscles are as strong as she can keep them going in.

  28. Best of luck to your mom. My mom had total knee replacement surgery last year. She was very crippled with a cane before the surgery, but 3 days in the hospital, 5 days in rehab, and she came home able to walk me WAAAAY better and faster than ever before. Now she feels so healthy that she sometimes forgets which knee was the poorly one. Mom says one thing people need to know about knee replacement is – it’s easier than you think! Prayers for a speedy recovery. xoxo

    Love and licks,

  29. We are purring to your Mom!!!!!!!!!!
    Everything will be right!!!!

  30. Looks like the training of Sage continues quite well Savvy dear……as for your Mom, we will be purrraying that her knee surgery goes perfectly well and she’s running around the house again before you know it! We know you and Sage and Dad P will take super good care of her as she recovers….as for cards – that’s the LAST thing you should be thinking about dear girl!!!!! Special wishes to your Mom from me and my Mom…….

    Hugs, Sammy

Blog snoopervision is a hard work, and we’re glad to hear that Miss Julie is going to help your dad with you two for blogging.
Good luck to your mom ! We keep our paws crossed so that everything goes well ! Purrs

  33. We know what hard work all that blog snoopervision can be and it’s a Good Thing that Sage is starting to share the burden.
Good luck to your Mom with her surgery.

    Your furriends in Jerusalem,
    Trixie, Caspurr and Shimshi

  34. Hope all is going well, knee surgery is tricky – at best … You will need to do some serious gymnastics after that – supervised, of course – to make sure your muscles will serve you again – and you might need some fighting spirit to do that. Do not give up – it is all worth it, when you can walk without crutches and canes again.

  35. I share my human’s office chair to supervise her – but sometimes she is so boring, she puts me to sleep!

I’m sending your human lots of purrs for her operation and recovery. Tell her that my human and I have her in our thoughts and that all goes well.

  36. kittiesblue on said:

Best of luck tomorrow Linda. I know you will breeze through this. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and the kitties will be purring up a storm for you. Tell Sage and Savvy that I expect them to step up as your personal nurses and to take extra good care of you. See you on the flip side. Love and hugs, Janet and Kitties Blue

  37. TSK is doing a lot better than I would. I don’t like to be on mom’s desk. Sounds like you’re all pulling together to help your mom get through her surgery. My uncle just has his knee replaced and my aunt had her hip replaced – so we know it’s a big ordeal and she’ll need lots of recovery time. I’m sure you’ll be able to give her lots of purrs once she gets home…..purrs help healing.

  38. Sweetie I think TKS is coming along very well..a bit bossy or maybe just very motivational 🙂 we think mums pics are really coming along so much and it is great to see everyone helping out with mum going in to hospital..we know we will be updated and send all our best and hope you keep the biscuit making going for mums recovery ..Christmas is busy enough without a trip to do not worry about things too much..we all understand 🙂 much loves Fozziemum xxx

Waving paw...HI!...what'd 'cha think...??
