The Pro’s and Con’s of New Home
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!
So…about the new home and all these different levels with a bunch of stairs all over. I don’t mind the stairs, don’t get me wrong. Better than having to go to a gym with Mom L and do all that extra leg work on machines, na’ mean??
But, and I mean a great big butt…
All these stairs and levels mean that ‘someone’ can check in on me when I least expect it. *slaps paw to forehead*…TKS follows me around…sneaks up and then touches me and says “BOO!!” Not fun, no, no…not fun at all.
TKS (aka The Kid Sage) discovered this lovely game early on.
Wow! I can see the whole living room from here!
This is sooooooooooo not a good thing…for me at least…

My “uh-oh” moment…
Oh My Ceiling Cat! Not good…
So I decided to just chill’ax…but let TKS know…I still have PAW POWER at any given instant.
The Paw is ‘locked and loaded’
I think this realization must have given her a pause for rethinking about jumping through the rail and ‘surprising’ me…don’t ya think?
The ‘PAW’ power is ready at all times
And so it goes…continuing to learn the freedom, and limits, of existing in our new home together.

The open stairs gives you the opportunity to see when TKS is coming, Savvy. Keep that paw “locked and loaded.” Good one!
I’m glad you’re adjusting and learning about the new house…..I think the two of you are going to be JUST FINE……there’s a lot of new places to claim for your own and in time I think there will be even more moments when you just want to be together.

oh I agree, to be greeted with a BOO! from a black kitty that’s really not fun at all… and TKS can watch you now from her stair-tower…. you need such a magic hood… but I have no clue where we can buy such a thingy…
Oh boy, yeah, those stairs make some awesome observing spots! I’m sure no one would pounce from there… hee hee, we would!
If a little kitty is about to slap you a shot, it’s best to have a quick paw ready to retaliate. Slapping might lead to playing. At least it does when I slap and play with my toys!
