Bliss Is A Brush
HIYA!1 SAVANNAH HERE!!!
My ‘win over’ with Mom L and Dad P at the shelter was when Dad P brought out the brush. *swoon* I thought I had been given a gift from Ceiling Cat for sure.
This has become my most favorite time in the morning and the evening. I will share morning detail another time. But as for my evenings with Mom L and my brush…here you go…
umm…Mom L…it’s time you know?
So I hop onto the couch when she settles in to watch a bit of TV with Dad P. And then I wait…*tapping little dainty white paw*
Now you’re talking Mom L…whew thought you fogot
I really get into this ritual we have; it is one of my most favorite times. I never ever was brushed so much and with such love before coming to my forever castle…
WAIT!!! What do I smell?? Surely NOT TKS!!!
But…there is always that ‘but’…right? Nothing is ever what it seems sometimes…I always make sure to SMELL the brush to make sure that The Kid Sage (TKS) has not contaminated it too much with her furs.
Oh yeah! This is what I am meowing about
Once I determine I can tolerate any ‘cooties’ she has left on my special brush…I get into the WHOLE experience!

Oohhh… I like a good grooming from the peeps, too. We have a comb though, rather than a brush. And that Rushton? He’s a comb hog, for sure. MOUSES!

I absolutely LOVE brush time too Savvy……….first thing in the morning I pop up on Mom’s lap and for ten or fifteen minutes I get my brushing session! LOVE IT! Good for our skin too……..

I love getting brushed…almost too much. After a few swipes of the brush, I get so excited, I attack. The lady with the yellow hair doesn’t like that much. ~Zoey

I love being brushed too. I used to like the furminator but mum doesn’t like using it on me so much now my back is a bit bony. I love the zoom groom though.
I love it when Pop brushes or FURminates me. Mom L should get a Groom Genie. It’s pawsome. Tell her to email TW.
On my fall art, I used some PS actions that TW downloaded. She loves all those actions cos they’re easy and can work magic.
BTW, TW always plays with me after midnight. Sometimes with the red dot, sometimes with a ball or my rockets.
Savannah, that is so nice that you enjoy your brushing. We don’t mind it for a bit, but we want Mom to stop when we want her to stop, not when she does. Oh well, it is nice for a while:)

No wonder your furs are so shiny and sleek, S. To me, the brush is poison. I let Mom do a few swipes, and then I make a break for it and it’s 10 minutes of zoomies. Mom says the word, “Why do I bother?” And the word, “Psycho.”

My one husky falls asleep while I brush her, she just loves it!

Savvy i love to jump on Mums lap…after a big day of sleeping i think night time is lap time…at least for this house panther…Dinnermintz likes to lie next to Mum..she is a little lap shy..like you Savvy she is not a picker upperer or lap kitty…but this last year she has had a few lap snuggles! Pickles settles on her bunny bed on top of the couch and Marbles heads for the top of mums seat…the pups like to lie by the fire or under the fan..depends on the temp…routine is good 🙂 paw pats Cleo..pee ess panther cooties is ok 😉 xx

My favorite routine is getting my cantaloupe treats from my human’s boyfriend! My second favorite is sleeping behind my human while she works at the computer. Life is pretty awesome here.

After my momma feeds me my late night meal, I hop up in da bed wif her and get pets and cuddles while she reads a chapter in her book. We does it every night!
Sage sits on Mom L’s chest while Mom reads a bit in her Kindle. Then I come to bed with her later and snuggle near her tummy and we keep each other warm
