We had a lot going on this week so I decided to chill’ax and let The Kid Sage (TKS) have at it with the blog for today. I am sure this will be to the delight of many of you…heh…heh

It is hard being the youngest feline in my home. So many demands are put upon me.
What Dad P?? Oh, sure thing. Just as soon as I am done with my yoga moves.
Don’t you ALWAYS hear the humans saying stuff like “just a minute”; “let me get this blog post done”; “hang on and then I can feed you”; etc. etc. etc. Nothing says we can’t turn that table around just a bit, right.
What’d’ya mean its been forever? I just finished my cool down.
And so there you have my TKS Tip #1 on TTT (Turning The Table). Improvise by creating a distraction.

Oh, TKS, that’s what Granny says every day. ‘Let me finish this and I come.’ In the meantime, I have done my nails, washed myself, did some gazing outside and so on…but when I begin to stare at her, she can’t refuse and stands up to do what I want her to do. She says that she feels examined….and guilty! if I may add 😀 I, on the other hand, don’t have any of these feelings, when I let her wait for me 😀 Pawkisses for a lovely day 🙂 ❤
We got no suggestions, TKS. Just being a cat should take care of everything. You know how they say that cats take a message and get back to you later. Don’t get me started on how long TW makes me ait for EVERYTHING: food, treats, playtime. It’s always “just a minute, let me finish this comment” or “I’m doing this for you.” TKS but don’t tell my BFGF that I said that.
You’re so right, Sage. The mom is always telling us to “hang on” because she needs to finish something. We’re gonna turn the tables on her just like you did!
Those are some good ways to TTT, Sage! What about begging your mom or dad to turn on the faucet (so that you can drink from it), and then take a few licks before walking into the other room?
My mum often wakes me up and says it is time for my pill. I TTT by jumping on her tummy at 3am. You have lovely big eyes TKS!

If you want to see your HuMom’s get up and moving try turning on the hot water faucet in the bathtub or start stirring the marbles in the bottom of the fish’s bowl. Both of those things have all the humans in my family yelling, “HITCH!!'” and running right to me! Really, these work every time.
Holy Ceilong Cat!! You can turn on a faucet? Ours are shut tight, but then TKS hasn’t ever tried. She just goes for the cupboard doors that don’t get shut tight. But TTT tip to stir the marbles in the fish bowl…sweet…adding that to the tip list
Sage you have the most amazing eyes! My Mom is tough to distract……no matter how much I scream for her attention, she just says “I’m coming!” and then she doesn’t appear for like FOREVER. I’ve learned to just WAIT……sigh.

Mom says the word “Wait” a lot. I usually TTT on our walks by sniffing one blade of grass for 10 minutes. Mom says the word, “Let’s go!” But that’s my way of saying, “Wait.”

Summer, I will be sure to send you all the TTT tips I receive. I must say I am surprised you can’t just turn on the “sweet face” look and get your human to stop in her tracks
