Is The Kid Sage Fickle?
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Now let me expand on the question I asked in my post title—it’s really “Is TKS fickle, or an opportunist?”
I’ll let you be the judge of how she spent her evening with Mom L a while back, while Dad P was out and about doing his meeting stuff and whatnot.
Just look at those sweet eyes and all that love pouring out as she snuggles in Mom L’s lap. She was such a kiss up that night, I had to leave the couch with Mom L cuz I just couldn’t watch her anymore.
Of course Mom L didn’t hear a thing. But then TKS and I can hear way better than her. I knew TKS heard a familiar car engine as it turned up our street.
Now she gets ready to break the news to Mom L. It was tough to watch, I can tell you that!
Here it comes folks, fickle or opportunist?
Apologies for the blurred last photo but TKS was starting to move pretty fast about then cuz she could now hear the garage door opening. She was outta Mom L’s lap so fast it was amazing! So much for all that lovin’ she was sharing with Mom L. Now do you think she is just fickle as to who she gives her snuggles or is she an opportunist who gets what she can from whomever she can get it???
Silly TKS. Thankfully Mom L knows that her heart belongs to Dad P.
PAW PATS, SAVANNAH
PeeEss—Please keep Momma Kat in your purrs and lend her some POTP.
I think TKS loves her Daddy and he loves her. That is why every home needs at least a cat per purrson but the more the merrier MOL
I’m thinkin’… opportunistic. I know my fursibs are, for sure. MOUSES!
Purrs,
Seville
Easy question to answer: All cats ARE opportunists. We hate to say it, Savvy, but TKS sure is a cutie with her expressive face. The human loved the photos. XOCK Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Well, if that’s how fickle works, Zoe is fickle, too. She does the same exact thing to Tracey when I walk in the door. 🙂
Well, what’s a cat to do when it needs some snuggles and the dad is away?
I think like all us fur pals, TKS just has SO much love that she needs to spread it around!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Oh you made us smile. It is so cute that Sage loves her Dad P 🙂 AND that you love Mom L and are growing into a fine and confident cat. You can be gracious, now there is lap space for Savvy *score*
Remember the old song — If you can’t be with the one you love — love the one you are with.
I say she is a little of both 🙂 And very cute.
I say opportunist.
HA Ha! I never snuggle with anyone but I used to tell whichever peep I was with that they were my favorite. Dunno why they starting laughing after awhile.
She’s definitely an opportunist, Savvy. And she doesn’t hide it for one second.
momma kat….we send de best oh bloo gil & perch two ewe and all de wee onez that yur in yur for everz bye monthz end ~~~~~~~~ ♥♥♥♥
N sage…ya noe picklez iz grate on ham samiches !!☺☺☺
TKS likes to share the joy!
Amazing how we kitties know how our mommies and daddies car engine sound like. Our g’ma is amazed each time we raced down to greet them when she hears nothing at all, but then the humans show up at the door and we’re there waiting.
Emma and Buster
Hmmm, tough call. If we were talking about a certain orange girl here with the letters N-E-W-T-O-N in her name, we’d say fickle.
BOL, love the one your with
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
Look at those faces!!! How can be mad? When I was married, I made jokes that Bear was an equal opportunity lover 🙂
maybe your dad can watch you when your mom comes home TKS? I bet then you jump with joy too :o)
I get all excited when my human’s boyfriend comes home too! But once the excitement is over, I usually go back to my human.
The question we have is does TKS get excited when MomL comes home? Maybe she just likes the excitement of greeting the returning hero? Out of the four of us, 3 always come to see whose entering the house. We like to know who is where and when they got here. It’s important to make sure your humans get plenty of affection but we still need to check to see if the right people are coming in and when the occasional stranger wanders in we work to make sure they don’t overstay. Cats have a lot of responsibility.
How petty of you, Savannah! The poor cat had no human to snuggle up to and you grudge her that she was thankful to Mom L for the time shared. And knowing fully well that Mom L is more into you, she made room again for you. And you use even that against her.
