Mom L Can’t Ever Leave Again
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Well I can tell you kitties that TKS and I have had a pretty rough start to our week. First thing on Monday morning, the Mom and Dad are up at some uncatly hour, runnin’ around gettin’ Mom L all showered and whatnot. Dad P was collecting i-this and i-that and all her chargers.
Why do you suppose humans need to get charged so often? Seems like a lot of energy is goin’ in but I wonder about what the output really is. Some cat really outta do a study on that. Let me jot down a note for Seville and Silver and get them right on that research.
Now, back to the hurried Monday morning activities in discussion.
Mom L and Dad P both gave us hurried good byes and pets and Mom L left her last remaining i-thingy playing music for us. And there we were left, counting our claws until someone returned home. In a bit of time, Dad P returned, but no Mom L.
What the—???!!! Now wait just a chik-hen pickin’ minute! How am I supposed to sleep tonight? When is she comin’ home. Where did she go??
I put this question to Dad P many times during that day and it was my last query to him before I went upstairs to learn if Mom L had come back in through an upstairs window.
Now that is a pretty rotten photo but Dad P did what he could taking a photo with his iPhone, with a table lamp on right next to him, at night. That’s as good as it gets kitties.
As you can tell, I was deeply disappointed in Dad P for not making Mom reappear. And TKS was just stunned when she went up to get her bed snuggles with Mom.
So we went through this the next day as well. No Mom. We were not happy cats, no sireee. But on Wednesday there she was!! She walked right through that back door!! The week was saved after all. But as for Mom L, well TKS and I have grounded her for like life, na’ mean?? She won’t be allowed out without security detail that guarantees she is home by our bedtime.
It sounds like your mom was out waaaaaay past curfew. A good ol’ ground is indeed in store!
*grounding (this is why us humans need all the help from you kitties we can get)
It was so very regular in this Palace when peep’s parents were dying that I have sort of got used to it, and every time peep went away I knew things would be bad and another relative had died, 6 in all so far, one a year. The good thing is that when peep comes back we are both very happy to see each other it does make up for it. Purrs, Erin
Do. Not. Like. Moms. Leaving.
There. We said it and bet you agree.
We sure hope that Mom L at least went someplace fun when she left you. We do think it stinks that you two were not kept in the loop. Savvy, photo quality aside, your facial expressions comes through “loud” and clear! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
We know what you’re saying, Savvy and TKS! We hate when our mom or day have to go away like that. It’s very upsetting!
OMC TWO whole days??? Thank goodness she came back! She can’t leave the rest of the year!!!
You must have been so glad to have her back! We are that way when the head peep leaves, too, but we usually try not to let her know at first, so she doesn’t think we missed her too much. Did you play it cool, too?
You need to sit on her 24/7 Savannah. Then she can never leave!

Don’t you just hate it when the Mom disappears? Dads are great for extra treats and sharing their dinner, but there is nothing quite like having Mom at home too.

Dang, missing Moms are no fun at all, ever!
We’re glad your mom finally came back ! Purrs
I know where Mom L went and am sorry she—and you guys—had to go through that. TW is lucky I let her out to go shopping.

I wonder what Binga thinks when both my human and I dissappear!
Oh, Savvy, your looks always CRACK. US. UP. Don’t worry … we won’t tell your Mom how much you missed her.
Oh I’m so glad your mom is back…. how bad that our teleport tunnels work not for humans, right? So we have to wait till they come back via da common door…
I hate when my momma disappears – glad yours came back!
