Who Said You Have My Permission???

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Based on what I know at this time, I believe that Mom L has some serious explaining to do. Let me ask you, my readers and my furriends. Just how close do you allow your humans get to your toesies?? I am totally serious! And what is the big deal with how humans seem to find our feline paws so engaging??

Hey there! Get that smart phone outta my face…umm…outta my toesies’ space!

Now I realize that my toesies are particularly fascinating to Mom L. She seems to think that my hind toesies almost look like little “human fingers” covered in white fur. Do you think my hind toesies look like that??

Fingers or pawsies??

Your comments will determine whether or not I allow Mom L to get so close next time.

PAW PATS, SAVANNAH

  1. I confess that ours, on the whole, are not in to paw touching. Not sure why, I think it’s more an individual thing. If Mum needs to examine a paw then dad will hold us and we don’t wriggle – like we know it’s for our own good.

Photographs are OK except when Mum points it at me. I really just want to show her my bum heh heh!!

  2. I HATE it when the peep is focused on my toes. Usually means she’s thinkin’ about clippin’ my claws. MOUSES!

  3. Oh Savvy your toesies are absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! We can see why your Mom is facinated by them 🙂 Mom loves our toesies too but we don’t let her photograph them too much either.

  4. Oh Savvy! You have adorable paws! And I think you should share them around, let your mom touch them and hold them and maybe even kiss them! I, myself, am particularly addicted to kitty paws and toesies.. but my fur babies are not fond of sharing them.. sigh. Oh, Leo will let me touch his front paws if he’s in the mood, but forget even thinking about touching the adorable back paws! The girls would rather have their tummies rubbed than their toesies.. I say share!!!!

  5. Those are some pretty cute toesies, Savvy, so we can understand how your human finds them hard to resist. None of us let anyone handle our paws, which is a source of frustration for the head peep, who wishes she could trim our claws.

Some of my cats like toe touches (and give them) – others are tolerant, and some do NOT like it. So whatever you feel is right for you, Sweet Savvy !

  7. You look totally hissed off in that picture, Savannah. We usually don’t like the humans messing with our toesies…and we suggest you tell Mom L to stay away.

  8. Mew mew mew yur PAWSS are luvley….LadyMum callss them “(m)ice creem pawss”.
Hu’manss are berry innterestin aren’t they mee furend????
    ***paw patsss*** Dharth Henry =^,.^=

  9. We are all mostly okay with toe touching here sweet Savvy!

  10. I must say Savannah I let Dad play with my toesies when he wants. I work really hard to keep them clean and the nails nipped of sheaths. Your toesie are really cute and do look like furry fingers.

  11. Oh, it’s OK, Savannah – the Moms love all our parts, but for some reason the toes do fascinate them:)

We can’t blame your mom, Savannah… your toesies are pretty cute! We let our mom touch ours!
P.S. Saw your comment today about wondering how we know if Sophie and Kylo Ren are enjoying their adventures. Firstly, it’s really obvious when they are NOT enjoying them. They cry a lot and try to hide under bushes or something. This happens every now and then, and we just put an end to that adventure and try again another day. Most of the time, they are game though. I can tell they are enjoying them when they are engaged and curious. If they are sniffing around and seem like they are wanting to explore their surroundings, then I know they are comfortable and interested in what’s going on. Sophie LOVES being outside, and will roll around in the dirt and grass. Kylo Ren loves walking on paths, like sidewalks or dirt paths, and will follow them all day long. I can tell when they are ready to head home though, because they start to get a little fussy and less cooperative. I hope this helps!

    • Thanks Emily for sharing your behavioral cues that you use to insure the cats are engaged. I know Sophie loves being out and about because I met her and she clearly wasn’t frightened nor anxious at BP. I have been wondering what cues people use to insure cats are comfortable being on outings mostly enjoyed by dogs. I think Sage would enjoy being out and about too.

  15. Your back toesies are quite long…

  16. Your toesies are cute, just let your mom M admire them. We had a cat whoo loved to sleep with us a paw in a hand.

  17. Well my Mom was totally in love with Angel Sammy’s toesies – he had extras remember……I don’t really mind Mom messing with my feets either and even let her trim my nails without much fuss. I vote for you letting your Mom “get to know” your toes!

    Hugs, Teddy

  18. Mom is obsessed with my paws, too! Humans are weird. I do not think your toes look like human fingers. They are completely unique and look like nothing else on earth! They are very photo worthy, though, so you must allow her that.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  19. Your paws are lovely, Savannah. Just lovely. I have a paw fixation, too – I prefer to pet my cat there. She is a very sweet cat, though she does not like it, she endures it.

  20. it’s probably tbecause paws are pawsome…. therefore all humans become paw-pawrazzis and paw-dicted :o)

  21. I don’t mind my paws being handled at all! But I’m an unusual kitty, and I think any cat has the right to withhold paw touching if they don’t like it.

Waving paw...HI!...what'd 'cha think...??
