How ‘Not’ to Get What You Want

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!

Have you ever tried a tactic on your human to get something you wanted. You know what I mean; like doing the ‘soft eye’ thing or the ‘cute roll over with a half body twist and love eyes’? Sometimes I think I am losing my touch when I execute my tried and true maneuvers to get Mom L to do stuff I want her to do. Like just the other day, I had been lounging for a while on our bed after it was made. I had my usual two small breakfasts and was thinking a third might be pretty good.

Now don’t you think that was a great, flirty look…not too eager…appealing…sweet…

Now that caught me off guard as you can see by the expression in my eyes. Was she gonna bust me just as I was getting my best ‘Get What I Want’ looks going.

Mom L: “I know what you are wanting Savvy. You can’t fool me with those ‘soft green eyes’ and ‘cute paws’ look.”

And then another thought over road all my intentions and needs…

Yeah, those attempts to get that third brekkie were overtaken by what I suddenly realized was a far more urgent need…na’mean?
