Not Another One??!!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Aiiieeeee!!! I heard Mom L say to Dad P when they returned from visiting Cuzin Leo…

Mom L: “Oh isn’t she cute?”

Dad P: “Yes, she reminds me of Boris, even though she is a ginger girl *chuckle from Dad P*”

Mom L: “Where do you think we should keep her to make sure she is safe?”

Dad P: “Let me think about that a bit. You know how inquisitive Sage can be.”

Oh My Cat!!! I knew right then, we I ~~were~~ was in deep cat litter!! After all I have been through with The Kid Sage…now THIS!!

Ok, I could not help myself, I must have let out a loud ~~ROAR!!!~~ meow, because soon The Kid Sage was coming downstairs to learn what I was so concerned about.

YRH!!! I am on my way! Never fear when I am near *snicker*

Hmmmm…was TKS (The Kid Sage) snickering??? Naw…no way…she wouldn’t do that to me; would she?

Did I hear something? Was that a meow? From where??

I knew she had my, errrr…ummm..ahhhh…’back’…when she checked behind her to make sure the upstairs area was secure.

All clear Savvy. Nothing up there

Now it’s my turn to check out the downstairs area…

Nothing over there…

Wait! what did I just hear??…

Nada to the right…I think…hmmm…that’s the dining room…??

What is left?

*ahem no pun intended* Could that sound be coming from the garage?

Alright then, come on Mom L, give that other cat up…I am not sure I can go through this again…please tell me I do not have to. Please tell me there is nothing for me to fear. Please reassure me I will be safe.

What did you say? The ‘new cat’ is a WHAT??

A salt and pepper WHAT??!!

There you have it. The newest cat member to my castle is a Salt and Pepper Shaker!!! WHO KNEW??!!

PLEASE!!! If any of you have really cool animal salt and pepper shakers…let’s start sharing them!!

My Mom Linda’s Grandmother collected Salt and Pepper shaker sets all through her lifetime; some 94 years!

Mom L wishes Grandmother could see this special cat S & P shaker set. It was in an antique store near where we live and the two pieces are held together by a magnet.

Ok, ok…we are sure someone, somewhere will be sure to tell us to NEVER EVER USE IT because that magnet is NOT HEALTHY.

But, nonetheless; isn’t this ginger kitty S&P shaker set too cute for words?

What Do You Do With Your Humans on Caturday?

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Not much goes on in my castle these days because the humans are retired. They lead rather boring lives except when I allow them the excitement of waiting on me, and The Kid Sage and of course assisting us with our five times a day fitness routines. Other than that…they don’t do much.

But on Saturdays…every 2-3 weeks..Dad P cleans all our litter boxes…oh don’t worry, they scoop 42 kabillion times a day…but on Saturdays, every 203 weeks…he dumps the whole lot of litter, scrubs the boxes, and gives us the luxury of brand new never used litter…ahhhhhhhhh…

So I, HRH Savannah…recline and watch all the action…

Just look at all that effort…for me…perfect

Of course The Kid Sage just cannot keep her little nose…nor any other part of her OUT of the action. She is so very difficult to teach and train in the art of being a ‘house cat’…sigh…but someone must, simply must, take on this duty. So…I do try…really, truly…I do.

A Cat Food Product Review Not to Be Missed: Friday Frolics

This is a product review for Chewy.com…for cat food…very good cat food…apparently ‘exceptional food’ when considered by other ‘species’…oh yes…you are certainly going to want to read on…seriously…just sayin’….

The product is Best Feline Friends, which is made by Weruva. Now in this feline friendly home we believe that Weruva is one of the brands that pays particular attention to making sure that their cat food products are just about some of the best produced.

When we searched to find some opinions…we were especially impressed with the review published by our great friends over at The Conscious Cat. The review was last year…but they addressed our very first concern…what in the world does “Product of Thailand” imply??? You can read their review right HERE…and this is what they say about the concern over their production in Thailand…

Their diets are made in Thailand.
I generally prefer foods that are manufactured in the US. David Forman explained: “Our foods are produced in a facility in Thailand that also makes food for people around the world, including the US and the strict EU and Japan. Similar to our USDA, there is a branch in Thailand called the Department of Livestock Development (DLD). The chickens we source in Thailand are part of an Animal Welfare Standard that sets forth ethical treatment guidelines that helps protect livestock and cattle at the farm, during transport and at the time of processing. Thailand is the 3rd or 4th largest poultry producer in the world for human consumption with much of it exported…so there is heavy regulation by the Thai government to ensure the ethical treatment of animals as well as high processing standards. The diets of the chickens is non-GMO.”

And here is what we learned about the ingredients of the BFF products we reviewed…

The Ingredients – The main ingredient is a red meat or dark meat from tuna, primarily skipjack or bonito, two smaller and highly sustainable species. The cuts contain lean muscle meat and have a taste and aroma that drives kitties wild! Amongst the various flavors, we include value added toppers such as boneless skinless chicken breast, duck, lamb, salmon, shrimp and pumpkin.

Wild Caught and Dolphin Safe – And speaking of kitties going wild for BFF, all of the fish used is wild caught, with the exception of tilapia. The catches of fish are also certified to have been safe for dolphins and turtles, as certified by the ships’ captains.

Having read all that…Mom L decided it was ‘A OKAY’ for her precious girls to have a sample of this food…

First up…why of course…as always and as always appropriate…SAVANNAH…THE PRINCESS…and most ~~discriminate~~ picky eater…

Alright, that is the first ‘4 paws up’ from me…THE First Princess…

Next up…The Kid Sage…

…and moving on to more discriminate palates…heh…heh

Mom L decided to take the product review one step further and asked Miss Tammy, my hero, if we could ask her cats to give this product a try…and of course…she said “YES”
