Guess Who Came To Dinner??: Friday Frolics

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Now I am sure that some of you will be put just a paw or two off by this photo…but this is how it is in my castle.

Just when Mom L leaves the dinner table to move to the couch to give me my after dinner pets and brushies…The Kid Sage, food hog that she is…takes advantage and just invites herself to……

DINNER WITH DAD!!!

Hey Dad? Did you see on the news that cats need more chik-hen in their diet?

Hey Dad? Did you see on the news that cats need more chik-hen in their diet?

Of course Dad P just let her carry on while Mom L and I were sitting on the couch stunned!  Who knew that Dad P could get his voice to make those meows! And The Kid Sage obviously heard him say something like…”come on up and join me…”

Don't mind if I do Dad. Oh, nice aroma...you think Mom's gonna wanna eat the rest?

Don’t mind if I do Dad. Oh, nice aroma…you think Mom’s gonna wanna eat the rest?

And no, Dad P did NOT let little Miss Pistol Pants have her way with Mom’s left overs.  But then of course Mom jumped up and removed her plate while Dad just chuckled.

And that is how the humans’ dinner goes now that The Kid Sage is in the house…pushy kid…just sayin’…

  2. Cheeky, that’s what sage is! Better learn that kitty some manners. 😉

  3. Hehehehe that Sage is a cheeky one Savvy,xx Speedy

  4. We have no right to pass judgement because in our house, little miss Jazmine rules the dinner roost and we have seen far worse!!

  5. I reblogged your post about Tigger. I was a bit saddened by the lack of response but what can you do? I understand that we all aren’t always in a place where we can get out of our daily life “stuff”. Love Sage checking out the chicken. I think chicken on the grill sounds pretty good for dinner tonight!

  6. back up just a second here…WHOSE food is it, anyways?

Hehehehe! We just try to join in too! Anne is the worst if Mom leaves her plate on the table next to the couch she will jump over onto it just to try to lick the plate! Naughty woofie!

  8. We try begging but it rarely works. Those mean hoomans!

  9. I walk all over the table while the peeps eat. I even walk through Pop’s plate but I never eat anything unless it’s given to me. OK, so I did once or twice but those were gonna be my pieces anyway. Occasionally, I’ll even sit in the cranberry jelly. TCBM Autumn used to have a little box on the table. She’d sit in her box and never bother anyone for human food. That’s just how polite (and stupid) she was.

  10. That’s a super photo, they look like two gourmets in a restaurant , love it!

  11. Hey, she loves Dad company! Hey, saw your comment about the dental over at Speedy’s. I would be very troubled by that.

  15. Stuff like this rarely happens at my house on account of the peeps bein’ veggies and all. Cats don’t eat veggies.

But… my sister, Tess, can sense butter on the table from a mile away. Okay, maybe not a mile. Maybe from the other room. Point is, she can sense it so if there are fresh rolls or bread or somethin’ that requires butter, she’s there in a heartbeat. My Auntie Blossom is the same with milk. Dairy fiends, the two of ’em!

    Purrs,
Nissy #Niss4Senate – tell the PM, today.

  16. Whiskers stole part of Mommy’s ham sandwich once when she was trying to eat it herself. She was eating the sub from the top and he jumped up and helped himself to the bottom half. ~ATCAD

  17. Ha! Silly kid Sage! Good thing mom got up to get her plate! BOL!
I have been sharing Tiger on my social networks….paws crossed.
Thanks for linking up to our pet parade.

  18. Eko and Penny better not get any ideas! I don’t think my table could take their weight anyway.

  19. I must say it is a much sought pozzie up there Savvy! the last time we had dinner guests I had Cleo playing squirrel monkey..lucky it was just our kids and their partners who all have cats…I had to put her in time out..i mean all that food and no invite for the kitty…sheesh…I am so un shocked it is not funny hahaaah..I have had fosters climb in my lap with their little tiny toofies and steal ham out of my sandwiches …haahahaha 🙂 and as for Tigger yes we have shared againad will continue to..we have also been asking peeps to click on the badge on our sidebar and transport straight to your post about him…I am sure he will win someones heart 🙂 lives Miss Bev xxx

  20. Well I think Sage knew she could get away with that when it comes to Dad! She’s got him wrapped around her panther paw for sure……her furs are so shiny and she looks so soft but so do you Savvy….you girls are happy and healthy and lovin’ life. We were happy to reblog about Tigger yesterday and thrilled that so many are spreading the word. We pray Tigger has a home ASAP.

    Hugs, Sam

  21. I long for the good old days when Mom would forget to push in her chair and I could see what was going on up on the table. Ever since I jumped up there and took her medicine, she NEVER gives me a chance to check out the good stuff up there….

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  22. Just came by for dinner, Savvy… 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend and hope Tigger finds a new home. Shared it on Google+ by Speedy 🙂

  23. OMC, she is as bad as Binga!

  24. Seems like Sage is like Buddy! Mind on her stomach!! ^_^

    Have a great day

  25. Aaaaw Meez knows yous fink dat Sage be a bit pushy Nana, but hers helpin’ hers selff to dinner is just too adowable. MOL Meez purrayin’ fur Tigger and will keep shawin’ too. 🙂

Luv and Hugs and Kitty kisses

  26. We all get up on da table here – sometimes da peeps make us get off though.

  27. We have to chuckle because our Mom is a real pushover. I have eaten her Grape-Nuts right out of her bowl and Oja has drunk her almond milk. So has Bambino. Cissy licked some butter off her toast a couple of days ago. Mom doesn’t seem to mind.

    • Our kind of cat home. By the way…Sometimes Cats Herd You posted about almond being toxic to cats. One of her cats snatched a lick of almond butter and so she researched it. We keep all things almond away from the girls. And MomL uses almond milk too

That Sage is so cheeky. Lily, Astrid and Mauricio try that move all the time, but as soon as it happens, either Mom or Dad get up and immediately remove their plates. You dad looks like a real pushover.

When my mother’s soul cat, Buckwheat, had to live with my grandparents for a while, suddenly my granddad, who didn’t like animals in the house, had company for breakfast every morning. Buckwheat would enjoy a strip of bacon and a little egg white while he waited for Granddad to finish up and then they would head out together to collect eggs and attend to other chores. It seems like nothing sparks change like love.

  30. Good you have a Mom, too, not only a Dad. Sage needs supervision. Not only a chuckle.

Waving paw...HI!...what'd 'cha think...??
