Might Be Dirty Laundry to Some…Not to Me
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
This may be shocking to some, so I suggest that you read on with your paws over your eyes…just sayin’.
I believe some of you may relate to my predicament just yesterday. Often there are things we secretly enjoy which we chose to keep hidden from the humans.
No one has ever seen me indulging in one of my secret fantasies until I was…*blushes*…caught on iPad video by Mom enjoying something I only have dared to dream of.
You see, I am not a ‘Nip Head’ like my very good pal Nissy. Nor am I into the ‘vine’ nor the ‘root’. I occasionally will indulge in some nip ‘IF’ it is very vintage.
But now salt…which the humans create tons of when they sweat whilst exercising…’NIRVANA’ to my senses. So I am coming out….not afraid to admit that yes, I am over the moon for Dad P’s work out clothes before being washed. So there you have it. I hope you will still be my furriends after viewing this video.
As you can see, even The Kid Sage was astonished that I prefer Dad’s dirty workout clothes to his clean workout clothes. She is so fastidious, she only likes to dive into the clean stuff. Clearly, she has never lived on the streets.

Ralphie likes wash cloths from the bath tub that have dried. Mom thinks it is the smell of the soap that she uses. Abbe likes to rub her face on Mom’s shirts too after Mom has been out working in the yard 🙂

OMC! THAT’S WHAT I USED TO DO!! I loved when Pop took off his work shirt and undershirt when he got home from work!! I’d roll on them, bunnykick them and grab them between my paws. Then TW discovered some snags and pulls and that was the end of that.
Whatever floats your boat Savvy. Who am I to judge when I like to nap in the dirty wash bin.

I’m a fan of dirty laundry too, boy I even could eat it… wait… I actually ate it :o)
Our HuMom lived with a beautiful Persian kitty once that liked to sleep in the dirty clothes hamper. We wonder if part of the reason you like your Dad’s dirty workout wear is because you’re crazy for him, but too afraid to get too close. Or, just maybe, we’re over-analyzing, just like our HuMom’s? Oh well, love of Dad?love of salty human? Whichever, as long as you’re happy!
Well, there’s something about the “scent of a human” (and heaven knows they have a lot of SCENT after a workout!) that is nommy – after all, we spend lots of time on/around/with our humans and we DO like their smells (most of them anyway!). I say whatever you enjoy is FINE…..what you do in the privacy of your home is FINE…..in other words – go for it Savvy!

That is good stuff, S. I am sitting in dirty laundry in my last blog post, too! When I try to sit in the clean laundry, Mom says I will get a spankin’. I don’t know what that means, but I’m pretty sure it’s something like bacon….

Pierre totally understands. One of his favorite hangouts is the dirty clothes basket, and let’s just say that thing doesn’t smell like a breath of fresh air. The smell of our humans rules!
