The Kid Sage Invites Herself to Dinner
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
None of you are gonna believe this blog post, but it is a situation that must be shared. Now I know that you all know I never, ever get on the dining table, right?
Oh wait, yeah—well there was that ONE time so don’t go gettin’ all specific on me, okay?
Moving right along, so try to keep up with the story and don’t get hung up on pawticulars. As I was saying, in general, I don’t get on the dining table but TKS, now that is another story. Why do you know that she actually expects to have a place set for her at the table!!???
TKS simply cannot ever avoid trying to join Mom L and Dad P for their evening meal if chik-hen is involved.
And then she goes and gets all in a huff when someone tells her this is people food, not cat food!
Of course, TKS just can’t let it go. She has to try one last time. And what little trick in her tool kit does she use? Why those great big glowing yellow gold eyes!
Almost looks like she ever has a little hurt tear escaping her left eye. Sheesh. Gotta give TKS some credit though, she sure does know how to get her place at the table.
Way to go Sage!!! Mee finkss yur berry reefined to want to eat at thee tabull…..
Mee likess to eat on thee coffee tabull or on thee counter meeself.
Wee are such Kewl Katsss!!!
***paw kissesss*** Dhartha Henry xxxx
Savvy she sure does look like her feelings are hurt! She has much better table manners than me 🙂 Mom has had to tell me more than once that my place is NOT on the table during dinner MOL…..just wanted a nice sniff…..

Wow, TKS has some serious persuasion talent! She looks like she belongs there at the table!
You look so cute like this, TKS, don’t give up ! We’re sure it will work, sooner or later. Purrs
At least she sat nicely, hoping to get some chicken. I am not so nice I sometimes jump on the table not even thinking of sitting, waiting and hoping. I get shooshed off but I still try again at a later time. Hugs and nose kisses from Pooh
Hey, if you don’t ask, you don’t get, right?
Purrs,
The Chans
She’s clearly got some skillz!
It’s worth a try, Sage!
Savvy, that first picture of you on the table kind of stole the show … the look on your face tells us you’re sure you belong there … and maybe vague irritation at being disturbed. TKS is sure working it though!
Hehehe, that trick just wouldn’t wash in this Palace… mainly as we don’t have a table! Also I have trained peep to feed me where I will, sometimes I have a working meal at the PC, and other times I have a TV supper on my new leather chair, well I have a timeshare on that. Purrs, Erin
Poor, poor TKS. She sure knows how to turn on that puppy dog face. Er, I mean kitten face.
She looks so sad, I would have shared a little.
Y’know? We rarely beg for human foods. But we still like to get on the table.
You keep staring and looking pathetic you will get a treat
Lily & Edward
I try that one too – I just wish it would work.
Atta girl Sage……keep lookin’ cute……sometimes it WORKS!!!!
Love, Angel Sammy
Oh yeah, TKS. Never give up. Parents can weaken when you least expect it. And then….CHICKEN!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Did she get the chicken??????? Whiskers once shared a ham sub with Mom, he ate from the bottom while she was eating from the top. Boy was she mad when she noticed.
Sage has such expressive eyes! So of course she has to use them!
You are allowed on the dining table???? Give us tips how you convince your human on that!

Oh she has very good table manners I think… how nice she sits on her chair, that’s cute :o) We have this problem with people food and dog food too… I think we all should get the same food, that would be much better, right?
