The Gathering
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
As you can see from my photo, KK aka Kit Katie, is continuing to encroach further into my peaceful castle. For some reason Mom L and Dad P seem to think that allowing her access to every nook and cranny is all part of her further socialization process. Supposedly this will lead to her ability to find her own forever castle. I WISH!!
You got it right. There she is right in the middle of the bed, between TKS and me. Please notice I am giving her a most proper “back of disdain” while silly TKS is looking at her in amazement. KK even gets TREATS when she joins us in my our master bedroom! Something always reserved just for me, the Princess, and TKS, the lady in waiting.
KK was supposed to go to two adoption events at a local Petco this past weekend, but that smarty pants developed conjunctivitis so the rescue rightly so, wouldn’t allow her until her eye is cleared. She also seems to have developed kitty cat acne on her chin, likely from stress and that plastic water dish that is long gone now.
I promise, against my better judgement, to keep you updated on Katie’s health and what’s going on in her path to adoption. She did have one inquiry after Mom L posted her on Petco’s “re-homing” site, http://www.adoptapet.com. You can view her profile here and please do share!
PAW PATS, SAVANNAH
PeeEss…sadly, dearest Lilly was again returned after her adopters had her only less than 3 weeks. They returned her because she was “stressing out” their two year old resident cat from whom Lilly was adopted as a “playmate”. The other resident cat is about twelve years old. Poor Lilly was set up for failure. Please give her some POTP. Thankfully she returned to Kitty Corner and is still her adorable, loving playful self.

I hope they are adopted together! Prayers precious girls. And love.

I really hope Katie finds her home soon. That is such a bummer about Lilly. I hate when kitties wind up at homes that are so clearly not going to work out.
Those poor cats! They can’t catch a break with anyone. The rescue seems to be setting them up for failure. I hope each find a permanent home. Sadly, they’d prolly not remember each other now. BTW, KK is stressing you out but your peeps would dream of returning her until they can send her to a real home.
Oh no…poor Lilly. We purr that she and Katie both find the homes they deserve. The right ones are out there.
Savvy she may find her own castle but I agree it needs to be far from yours. Meowing of Castles Miss Fitz, after 7 years, has decided to get chummy with My Dad on My side of the bed so I feel your pain. Lilly you look sweet and will find your very own forever home soon. Purrs you do little girl

Kit Katie and Lilly, we hope you two find wonderful furever homes real soon. You are both so adorable. Thanks for sharing the photos. Have a wonderful day and good luck.
We’re sad for Lilly, we hope she finds a good home very soon. Purrs
I do hope KK and L find homes soon. Meanwhile, you do you, S.
Love and licks,

It is really sad that poor little Lilly has been returned again. So unsettling for her.
KK seems to be making herself completely at home in your castle!
Paws crossed everything will out for all of you gorgeous kitties. Hugs and Purrs. X😻💜🐾
We are so sorry that Lilly was returned again. Poor girl that has to be hard for her. Maybe her and Katie can be reunited although it seems that Katie has found her castle she is just waiting for the rest of you to catch on. But until you do we will share. ~ATCAD
Mommy had to sign into Twitter to comment Word Press is doing something odd and wanting us to sign into your blog.
we have same problem trying to leave comments on blogger. Only can do with Mom L’s handle. We think Google and Word Press are fighting and we all are all suffering.
Poor Lilly, we send you purrs that you nad Kit Katie will find a true FOREVER home!

Oh Savvy – how sad that Lily was returned ! Maybe she and Katie are destined to be reunited and adopted together. Purrs to you and TKS for being so patient !
Savannah you always make us smile or giggle with your posts. We are sad though about Lilly and we hope the next home will be her loving forever home. We hope too that KK is home forever very soon too. Hugs and nose kisses to all.
We are sharing and sharing for the sweet girl! Hopefully a home WILL happen!
We are much saddened that Lily was sent back, truly she deserves better than that.
Now as for three (or five) to a bed, at least it is only temporary, and be thankful you don’t have to share a single like I do most nights; is it any wonder I go out and do shift work?!

We hope and purray that sweet Lilly finds a family truly worthy of her, who will give her a real furever home and that maybe they will be people who will consider adopting Katie also and who are ready to make a true commitment, rather than just give up after a few weeks!!!
Poor Lily, being returned a second time – that is CRUEL. Who, in his right mind, would pair a cat not yet a year old with a senior cat? Those people were stupid and Lily is better off being away from them. But still – being two times returned, that is nasty. I wish people would put more thought into which kind of cat they adopt for which purpose.
I would not adopt sweet Lily, because I have cat who is going to be 10 in August. But thankfully I am not tempted, as I live in Germany, too far away anyway.
we are so sad that the last home was only for 3 weeks… we hope so much that there is the purrfect home for both in sight…
Hope Lilly and KK will soon find the best and correct forever home.
I really loved the post! I hope Kit Katie and Lilly both find loving forever homes!
