HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

As you can see from my photo, KK aka Kit Katie, is continuing to encroach further into my peaceful castle. For some reason Mom L and Dad P seem to think that allowing her access to every nook and cranny is all part of her further socialization process. Supposedly this will lead to her ability to find her own forever castle. I WISH!!

You got it right. There she is right in the middle of the bed, between TKS and me. Please notice I am giving her a most proper “back of disdain” while silly TKS is looking at her in amazement. KK even gets TREATS when she joins us in my our master bedroom! Something always reserved just for me, the Princess, and TKS, the lady in waiting.

KK was supposed to go to two adoption events at a local Petco this past weekend, but that smarty pants developed conjunctivitis so the rescue rightly so, wouldn’t allow her until her eye is cleared. She also seems to have developed kitty cat acne on her chin, likely from stress and that plastic water dish that is long gone now.

I promise, against my better judgement, to keep you updated on Katie’s health and what’s going on in her path to adoption. She did have one inquiry after Mom L posted her on Petco’s “re-homing” site, http://www.adoptapet.com. You can view her profile here and please do share!

PeeEss…sadly, dearest Lilly was again returned after her adopters had her only less than 3 weeks. They returned her because she was “stressing out” their two year old resident cat from whom Lilly was adopted as a “playmate”. The other resident cat is about twelve years old. Poor Lilly was set up for failure. Please give her some POTP. Thankfully she returned to Kitty Corner and is still her adorable, loving playful self.

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

This means our laptop and monitor stopped meowing to each other almost two weeks ago. Mom L has a ton of eyesight challenges  trying to create anything presentable just using her laptop screen. Everything is too itty bitty. A new monitor is on its way but not sure when it’s gonna show up at my front door.

I have so much to tell you all that I can hardly think where to begin. We have had such an active last six weeks what with our current foster house guest, biped house guests, Mom L’s injury, and so much rescue work going on, well…let me just say…I plenty of blog post topics to last me for a while!! MOL!

Thank you for understanding why I have not been posting regularly. In fact, I am pretty sure I have convinced Mom L to take some time off to get her head wrapped back around my blog. I’ll let you know this week when and for how long we will be taking a planned break.

I have a photo of me I thought you might enjoy cuz it shows off my green eyes. Hope that will help make up for being absent without telling you why.

The Kid Sage just couldn’t believe her fan club would wanna go missing out on getting a little sight of her recently enjoying a sun puddle we kind’a tussle over.

And I thought you would like a look at our rescue kitten house guest. Katie aka Miss Katie, is about 7 months old. She has already had a litter of kittens but looks like none survived. She is a rescue from an apartment hoarding situation Mom L and Dad P stumbled on about six weeks ago. She arrived horribly malnourished and terrified of every noise and human. But, Katie is not feral, just so scared. She never got to be a real kitten so we are workin’ hard to remind her of what that looks like. She is playing but still very scared and mostly doesn’t walk up right, just kind’a low to the ground.

More about her and her part in the apartment hoarding rescue we have been smothered with for some time.

Hope you enjoy the photos. I’ll get back to you as soon as we get our monitor!!

Here come the memes…and the memes keep marching along…

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Let’s get right to it…of course this means featuring ME!!

You know I am the total real deal when it comes to how well a carpet can assist a cat in  getting her/his play on…right??

And yes, I am still finding lots of time to play with Mom L and Dad P up and down my beloved carpeted stairs, even with my art-right-us!!

Now for a couple of memes from my community cat colony residents. Mom L was feeding them and captured these great seconds which make community cats just like any other cat!!

The two cats so enjoy dining together and they often intertwine their tails just before joining the dining table together.

The following silly mancat loves to show off his tummy tuck!!

All the cats seem to enjoy watching his antics after he dines.

Tell me what gave you the biggest smile on my Friday Memes today!!
