Friday Memes for your Friday Smiles

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I am baaaaaccckkk!! And firing on at least 7 of my 9 engines aka “lives”!! Still workin’ on gettin’ my energy back and building some weight gain, but heck, I am an abandoned shelter cat!! And if I found my forever castle I can get through this!

On to my Friday Memes for helping you all get your Friday Smiles goin’!

First up is TKS. She just had to get on this week’s memes. I gotta know how many of you are smiling after you see her meme. If I don’t hear from you loud and clear, I may have to ban her from memes for a while. Just sayin”!

Clearly TKS is concerned about all the rotten media stating that cats cause so much wildlife ruin in the world. What do you think?

Of course I just knew you would all wanna see my own person meme this week, so you gotta let me know what you think in my comments, purrlease!

And now for my surprise guest meme photo. Please welcome Sir Levi. An extraordinary cat who is convinced he can influence a dog to thinking it is a cat!! Sir Levi has a human companion, Miss Jill, who volunteers with my Project Delta View Cats abandoned community cat rescue targeting our city of Pittsburg, CA. Miss Jill is a kitty rescuer and all around animal advocate!

There you have it! My Friday Memes for Friday Smiles. I sure do hope you are all smiling now!

I’m HOME!!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Hear yee, hear yee!! The Princess did not move to Canada, she returned to her much loved home in Pittsburg, California!

Hey guys!! Thanks a ton for appreciating TKS and KK’s attempts at holding the “blog” in my absence and producing the last Friday Memes for Friday Smiles. IMHO—”they did good”!

So for anyone who follows my blog, and doesn’t know, I had the i 131/aka Radiocat hyperthyroidism treatment on January 21. I was in hospital for three nights. My first ever and last ever away stay from my castle.

So here’s my account of my rescue from the hospital.

First, I was so scared and nervous. But then I met my Registered Veterinarian Tech, Ms Erin, and I started to relax. Ms Erin was so kind and caring and compassionate. My treatment was at Animal Specialty Hospital in Oakland, CA.

So Mom L was totally in love with the art they use in their kitty area for intake and discharge. She had leaky eyes when Ms Erin brought me to her.

And then there was the one hour drive home. Mom L did the same thing she did when she and Dad P took me to hospital. She rode in the backseat so’s she could open my carrier and pet me to comfort me.

She even let me get my head and shoulders out to make sure that Dad P was driving safely and headed in the right direction—HOME!!

And then the moment arrived. I was HOME!!

Yeah, yeah, I know Mom L got me all blurry, but you get the idea, right? I was HOME!!

Well then I had to do an entire survey of my castle to make sure no changes had been made in my absence, and no “other” kitty had tried to use any of my stuff!

I started talking to Mom L and Dad P as soon as I left my carrier. I wanted them to know what I thought about this whole ordeal. I let them know that my RVT Ms Erin was super duper awesome. And that I know I am one fortunate kitty to be able to cure my hyperthyroidism. Not every kitty gets to have this. But, I turned out to be allergic to the less costly treatment, even using the transderamal gel on my ears. I started to vomit, then my ears started to itch and I got an infection in one ear. That’s why we all decided that I had to get the Radiocat treatment.

Moving forward…

My inspection of my castle was of course vocal. I meowed all my observations of any changes to Mom L and Dad P.

I checked out the down stairs and then went upstairs. Of course all the while I was being followed by my castle staff

They wanted to make sure I was pleased with how they took care of the castle in my absence. The toughest part was learning that the staff had taken advantage of using my preferred nip toy, the rainbow. A brand new one I got for Christmas in my stocking.

Phew!! Some other cat has spit on my fave Yeow nip rainbow!!

But then I found my holiday tree and it was scent and spit free!!

Ahhh…my spit is still on this one

I ended my inspection once I was assured that my favorite pink beddie was secure and ready for my long nap.

Thank you all for helping me escape. I am now taking a long needed nap

I am so happy that Dad P still serves me my meals anywhere I wanna eat.

Hey Dad P!! I am waiting!!

As some of you know I have lost about two pounds aka 900 grams.  I really need to get that weight back. I am trying, but I am also a very picky eater.

This is my current figure, I am very thin

Thankfully I have Mom L and Dad P to make sure I get whatever I need to keep me gaining weight. The last few days before my treatment, I was really grouchy and took that out on Katie and Sage.

Since my treatment, I am starting to allow closer relations with them.

I know you are butt bumping me Katie, but I want my treat more than giving you a paw whap! MOL

Life is good. Please send my your POTP to help me regain some weight. Thanks guys for being my pals.

Friday Memes for Friday Smiles

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Actually I am not officially “here”. You see Mom L and Dad P are bringing me home from hospital stay of three nights on Friday. So I have delegated to TKS and KK to create this week’s Friday Memes. Mom L agreed to help them out. Hope they did a good job and that when I get home and check my blog comments I hear that you are all smiling!

First up is Dot Kitten from my best ever pals in New Zealand—Dash Kitten Team!

That is Dot Kitten hearing USA country western for the first time. Hopefully she turns on some hot jazz and blues next!!

And here are the brothers Jamie and Jay V from the New Kitty Platoon. Not even a year old and they are already arguing over who gets what at their first Christmas!

Hope you have your Friday smiles going. Let me know.
