Keep away game is fun!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Do you and your fur sibs ever play “keep away” with a cherished toy? Dad P, Mom L and I witnessed the three youngsters doing just that! It all started with Domino finding an old, small, red mousie toy. Likely from about three Christmas’ ago. It has been in the bottom of our toy basket for a while.

Domie loves to carry his toys around, then stop to play with them in front of Katie and Foster Reesie and then grab them away and dash off. He waits for them to follow him.

Well, Foster Reesie snatched this red mousie away and dashed up to the first flight of stairs to the landing. She proceeded to toss that mousie all around; up against the wall; grabbing it in her paws and mouth. All the while watching Domie, out  of the corner of her eye, looking all wistful seeing his cherished mousie being mauled by Foster Reesie!! MOL!!!

You can see Katie sitting all cute and polite on the upper steps. She waits for her moment. When Foster Reesie is taking a break and brofur Domie is still in shock—Katie makes her move!! SNEAK ATTACK!!!

I thought Mom L was gonna spit out her wine watching Katie’s professional move!!! Here are our “game” participants.

Our Katie

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I don’ t get many photos of my sweet castle roomie Katie. She shies away whenever Mom L gets too close with her camera. But Katie is so pretty and so delicate and little. Still only about seven pounds tops. She has kind’a short legs and the cutest little walk with her tail held high and always curled into a question mark at the top!

Here she is doing one of her fave things. Patrolling our back patio. She watches day and night from her little cat tower to make sure no foreign introoders enter our patio. 

She caught Mom L taking her photo and Katie was not pleased! MOL!!

Another fave place for Katie is this beautiful beddy Mom L asked Miss Andrea from Celestial Kitties to make. Katie so enjoys snuggling in it because it is right in front of the balcony slider in our master bedroom so’s Katie can get nice sun puddles in the late afternoon.

Don’t you wish you had a beddy like this one?? We have one more downstairs in front of our patio slider door and it gets really nice sun puddles too! Mostly TKS or Domino get that one. Where is you fave place to chill out?

Katie joined our Chrissymouse play!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!

I’m gonna be sharing our Secret Santa Paws gift opening on my next blog. I just had to share our joy that having new toys to review brought our sweet little Katie outta her hidey-closet!! And she played!!!

Katie hides during the day in Dad P’s office closet. That is where we presented her with her purrsonal stocking and some of the Secret Santa Paws gifts.

You can see Katie’s special gifts from our Secret Santa Paws in front of her. She sit s on this box or on a rug on the other side of the closet She mostly only comes out during the day when no one is in the office and comes out at night to snuggle and play with Dad P before they go to sleepy town. But on Christmas day, Katie decided that new toys were more interesting than hiding!!

She really was interested in the new bird feather wand toy. She played with Dad P and Eowyn who was in her room to open her own prezzies with Katie.

You can see  that little Katie is still feeling dejected and she doesn’t stand tall, but sort’a goes lower on her legs. But this is so much better than the slinking she has been doing!!

She engage with playtime with Ewoyn and the new wand toy and she even poked around the new crinkly tunnel!

We sure hope your Chrissymouse Day was filled with lots of fun and yummy noms!!

PeeEss—your POTP, purrs and purrayers have helped Katie! Her claw sheaths are not showing any redness nor swelling nor discharge!!! One more week to make sure the new non-clumping litter is not irritating her claw sheaths and then Katie will rejoin the household and all our litter will be silica non-clumping!!!
