Hiya Savannah here…sort of…
First, I want to apologize for any typos, ‘cuz Mom still only has a couple of fingers she can use on her right hand, and I am trying to back her up using my paws…not easy as you can imagine!
Second, THANK YOU OUR FURRIENDS! for such kind and supportive words and thoughts for Mom’s surgery on her hand. The icky cyst on her middle finger on her right hand is GONE! YEA!!….at least she thinks so…that finger still has this huge fat bandage on it! But she gets to take that off Monday and then band aids only! Woo Hoo!!!
Third, please forgive my not getting around to comment on all your wonderful bloggies. Mom tried to catch up on some Friday before her procedure, then she even did some Friday after it! Crazy Mom!! Anyways, we have been reading your wonderful bloggies, but making comments is kind’a challenging. Mostly we are fretting over not being able to respond back to your nice comments on my posts we did before Mom had this thingy done. Sorry…
So Mom insisted on doing this post ‘cuz I was so blown away by receiving two Awards yesterday!!! ANd we don’t wanna forget them…remember, Mom had the Happy Juice during the procedure…then she had the pleasure of no feeling in 3 fingers ‘cuz they also gave her this great Numbing Juice…and now that is all gone…she is left with these Fuzzy Head Pills…(whipers behind paw…makes her really forgetful and kind’a whoozy…)
“What Mom??” “Oh no, I didn’t say anything!”…shhhhhhhhh…
Now, my good over the pond new pals, Mollie and Alfie , have been so gracious to pass the Very Inspiring Blogger Award to me. I have already received this Award, so I won’t pass it forward again. But I sure wanted Molle and Alfie to know I so appreciate their thoughtfulness. They are one my fave new bloggies to discover!
My special French pal, Texas A Cat in New York passed along this totally cool award the Blog on Fire Award…what a totally pawsome looking award. Thanks ever so much Texas. I tried to Google search the origins of this award, but failed. So I guess it means Texas thinks I have FIRE in my bloggy posts!!! WOW!

So…Mom can handle 5 things about me for the Blog on Fire Award:

- I am a closet spanking cat
- I have a Champion (like those knights in the shiny armor and he will soon have my hanky to post on his blloggy)…bet no one can guess who he is…????????
- I have a secret bond with my Dad…he doesn’t even know it MOL
- I broke my fave Black Feather Toy…sigh
Now I want to pass this award forward…but again…Mom can manage only doing this for 5 blogs…she can’t keep surfing to pick up their links and stuff…so sorry again…we have some that are new to us…hope you all already know them or if not will go for a visit…no order of importance…
I will let each one know tomorrow that I have passed the award along to them…but now Mom has to stop.

Mom just did not plan on this getting in the way quite so long…and I cannot keep up ‘cuz I have to take care of her…Dad is good, but I am her best medicine!!!

Dad is gonna go get me another black feather toy…I really luvluvluv that thing. And isn’t Mom just fantabulous in keeping up at least with post and responses. She even played with me WHILE she took the video today…did the wand with left hand and vid with right…sheeeshhh!

You see, Savannah, you relaxed her so much she fell asleep. Of course, there are those happy pills! You make sure you focus some relaxing energy on that big bandage so that her finger heals really, really fast! Cats have special healing powers.

Hi Ms Bernadette! I do have special healing power for Mom…we cats are just unique that way I think. Mom’s finger is getting better, but she is a touch typist and really slow and lots of mistakes which frustrate her no end! Silly person!
As for my champion, I will reveal him soon.
As for me being a “closet”, as in “hiding something from others knowing it”…’spanking cat’…do you know that some of us cats really like to have our butts ‘spanked’ or as Mom says, ‘whapped’…with rhythm of course??!! Here is a video Mom saw a while back
That led her to suspect I was ‘in the closet’ about this pleasure, so she tried me out. I hold my butt up and she gently of course, whaps out little tunes on my butt! I luvluvluv it!!! Savannah, our mom understand the typing thing too–she’s a touch typist and we can’t understand why she gets so upset when we all sit on her keyboard shelf, but we just want to be near her! Except for Mr. Sunshine who wants to gnaw on her knuckles. A while ago she thought she was losing her mind because she was suddenly making typos in every word but discovered it was only because she had decided to place the mouse between her hands so it wouldn’t keep ending up on the floor, and just that threw off her typing ability.
And we understand the closet spanking–our mom often turns our pet sessions into spanking sessions on the butt, and when she’s really inspired she uses us as bongo drums!
KAABAMMM!….Dad, Dad..come fast…Mom did it again!!!…help!!…what Savvy??!!…it’s Mom again…this time she really hurt herself ‘cuz of her booboo finger…she fell off her chair laughing…hurry Dad!!! (whispers to Mom, ya better get up before he gets here ya know!…just sayin’…)
Yup, bongo drums is about what I get my butt made into by Mom too!!! LOVE IT!!!
Of course you are the best medicine Savannah! Animals always are. Your Mom certainly is brave and wonderful to have managed this post after surgery – I am really very impressed. Please pass on all our healing thoughts and prayers to her.
awww…thank you so much for your kind words. I had to make Mom take a break so she is gonna tell efurryone on my post to day that she is having a bit of struggle keeping up. We will be fine by end of week. Thank you so m uch for coming by.

Hi Sammy. Mom just took off her big bandage…it kept her from licking her wound. But now she has band aids…and it hurts a bunch. Ick! Now she can lick it so I have to be on watch to make sure she keeps away from that wound…a service cat’s work is unending

Great news your mom’s surgery was successful. Tell her not to worry about commenting. Even with all the fingers it is sometimes difficult to get round and comment on all on our blog roll. I really like olives. First I use the olive my humans gives me as a toy on the floor and then I eat it. Totally addictive. More than nip! Then I have to nap because I’m kind of… high.

You need one of those nursing hats that we use for the @WLF Nursing Corp. I got one when I was nursing Pop through his broken elbow. I also lay right below TW’s pillow. Concats on the awards. I hope your Mom’s hand heals quickly. I haven’t been doing much commenting either cos the ipawd won’t let me.
