Tuesday Tech Problems
Hiya! Savannah Here! (barely!!!)
Nothing but tech problems ALL DAY TODAY!!…sheeesh! I finally had to put my paw down and hit the ESC key to make our laptop STOP scanning every file it ever had in its whole life!!!
And now we cannot figure out how to make WP bow to our commands!
We want to put up 2 slideshows for my followers and readers, but every time I put a photo up, WP dumps it into one HUGE slideshow…sulk….
So I am sorry, but NO TUESDAY POST…
BUT…the good news is….
I HAD SOME GREAT CAPTIONS FOR MY VIDEO MEOW-CHAT WITH MOM on my “Monday Meowsie News”…so we decided to do TWO THINGS:
First…I will post on Thursday the CAPTION my Dad thinks is most close to WHAT I am telling Mom…trust me, he doesn’t even know I just made this decision…he will come with a totally OPEN mind!

…just so you know I have been working pawfully hard to keep things going around here…this is my idea of “hard work”…

Well, I can think of one solution to your slideshow problem…just make two posts on the same day, each one with its own slideshow.

Well, Clowie, as you know…our time is impawtant and we must make good choices in how we spend it…and I need my strength to be ready to snoopervise Mom on my blog stuff…heh…heh
You don’t have to tell ME ’bout computer issues. As you know, my peep is a technologically impaired duffer. But I think your mom is way better at this sort of thing than my peep so I bet she’ll get it straightened out, lickety-split! May the purrs be with you.

probably not to “lickity” nor too “splitty” Nerissa…WP is very restrictive about what we can do with slideshow, just learned only ONE per post and we have a ‘paid’ WP account, not free and we still have such limitations. Mom is still trying to sort out how I can share their trip. It was really cool!
I’ll bet it was the “TUESDAY” – we had the same problems – and yesterday even the hairdryer didn’t help :o) ….think I will work as hard as you, it’s a good idea :o)
Mouses!!! Mom should have used the hairdryer!!…runs upstairs, Mom!…Mom!!…remember Easy used a hairdryer…paws through Mom’s bathroom cupboard…grabs hairdryer in teeth and drags it back downstairs…quick, Mom…plug it in!!!

naawwww…I’ll keep mine just the same Basil. She does try hard. But we used to got to lots of Twitter pawties and stuff besides the blogging and we don’t do that anymore and miss it lots. We really have to get this blog under better control…sigh
Just don’t forget to take time out to play for all your hard work!!

Goodness Savvy – your “hard work” looks quite similar to MY “hard work” !! We cats really know how to accomplish stuff the easy way huh? Sorry you’re having techie problems though…..sometimes we can’t QUITE do the stuff we want to do on WP or anywhere – something tells me you’ll get it all figured out though!

Oh Misaki, these gremlins are really rambunctious!(Vocab building project VBP) and we still have not rounded them up yet

Sounds like the gremlin from Long Life Cats and Dogs is doing the rounds – an awful lot of people are suffering. Poor you – hope you get on top of it soon. Looking forward to the competition results!
Hi Miss Annie, and yes, the tech issues are many. We also have new iPhones and new iPad not working properly and our new home has connectivity problems with wireless and WP is too limited in what we can do with our posts…hmmmm…guess I sound pretty whiny huh? MOL
Aaargh! Wireless network problems have caused us more heartache than virtually everything else in the computer world! Do you use an Airport network or is it the router from your internet supplier? Good luck in sorting it all out. Carry on Whining, it can help 😉
wireless is so challenging! we are using a router from AT&T, and they gave us all wireless for the TV up and down stairs too. But the internet connection upstairs just sucks for Dad and when Mom uses her iPad up there. Crap!
It does sound like you need to get a wireless booster of some sort. We have a huge space with thick stone walls and use Apple Airport in two sectors – one upstairs and the other downstairs. our major problem was getting the two networks to talk to each other. Now that works, we can even stray a little outdoors! Friends have suggested that taking an Ethernet cable downstairs and then running a second router would work much better but we’ve got to work out how to run that cable through these old walls. For your sanity’s sake you might want to get a network specialist in to give you a helping hand. I know how frustrating it can be and hope you can work something out.

yup we do look similar, you have more white then me, which, I guess I must have more gray than you???hmmmmmm…interesting concept. And right now tech anything sucks at our house
WordPress can sometimes be quite a pain!
