Do All Cats Like Nip Toys?

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
As you likely know by now, Mom L, my typist, is off gallivanting in Atlanta at the combined conferences for the Cat Writers Association and Bark World. As you know, this has troubled me greatly.(hover over photo to view captions)
But…I managed to find this tell tail tale short video of The Kid Sage which proves yet again…cats are mostly into their nip toys for immediate gratification…after that…the motto goes something like this…
“When a toy has been tested, bunny kicked, covered in cat spit and guarded from any other cat in the household…said toy is now to be avoided at all costs”…so sayeth Ceiling Cat.
Such is the fate of this ‘at first glance’ kickable, spitable nip toy gifted to me and The Kid Sage by our fave DVM, Dr Josie, now a retired certifiable Cat Lady…heh…heh…and that nip sock is also “now retired”…na’ mean???

We bet of Mom L puts that in a sealed ziploc with some fresh nip, you will one again find it quite lickable and kickable. It works for us! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Pooh loves nip but she is one of the very few cats we have had over the years that did. She don’t play with toys much though, she just likes the nip. Her fav thing to do is run through the house and watch bird TV, she has never tired of that. We hope your mom has having a great time. Hugs and nose kisses.
We go through stages with our cat toys. We go with the saying – “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” The longer we go without playing with a toy, the more pawesome it will be when we find it later!!!
I often forget about a toy for ages and then re-dsicover them. That’s the best:-)
The only nip toy I really like is my tickle pickle.
Zoe and Moosey are the big nip fans here. Gracie likes it, but only sometimes. 🙂
Sage is loving her nippy toy. Mum marinates my favourite toys for me every week.
Well weez luv all ow nip toys. Even those dat hav been slobbered on and kicked wound and put fwu it. Once they dwy out they’re good as new. MOL

We just can’t understand why someone hasn’t come up with a dog nip!!! Sure we have treats, but we want a bit of nip fun too:)

We both like catnip, but we got a snake from our German furriends Fellindianer which was filled with another nip : I (Zorro) don’t react a lot, but it drives Pixie totally crazy ! Purrs
I think my Mom is very disappointed that I don’t react to the nip…..she’s tried every kind of nip there is…….silvervine powder was something I DID react to though!! Love the video……sending hugs to both of you girls for Halloween!

I know of a late cat who did not pay attention to any artificial cat toy, nip or not. Some cats just do not dig nip.
My two prefer the hard stuff: VALERIAN …

Haahahaha well Savvy…the only girl here who really lover her nip is Cleo…I believe kittens and older cats enjoy it more..she also has a thing for Coriander! a real thing..worse than nip! I can’t grow it as she eats it rolls on it digs it up flicks it …try some on Sage…maybe it’s a panfur thing 🙂 loves Miss Bev xxx
