Are You A Bunny Kicking Cat or Woofie?
HEY HEY HEY!! THE KID SAGE HERE AGAIN TODAY!!
Lucky me! Lucky YOU! Mom L has more photos of ME she hasn’t used than of HRH Savannah. That means I get to share one of my most favorite games ever with you. In fact, I am the cat who taught HRH Savannah to play this game.
Now I believe this is NOT ONLY a game for us cats. I believe that our woofie pals play this game sometimes too. Be sure to let me know in comments if I am right about that, ok?
I just can’t get enough of my game called BUNNY KICK. I don’t even care if I play it with one of our toys OR just with our Nip N Nap mats or even a plain old floor rug.
My Bunny Kick moves are actually rather expert, don’t you think?
Sometimes I have to smoosh that rug over and over again.
Now you would think all that would ded it for sure. But not this particular time. I had to go back and really give a lot of extra bunny kicks to get that rug to lie down and be dedded.
Just to make sure the Bunny Kick game is finished I usually give that rug a couple of chomps as well.
I can play the Bunny Kick game all day and all by myself. Problem is, sometimes Mom L and Dad P think I am really going to cause some harm to that old rug. Seriously?
How do you play the Bunny Kick Game?
Bunny kicking is so much fun. Mau is good at it but Astrid is the champion at our house. Savvy, we know that the blog is yours. You were very kind to let Sage do something today. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Hi Sage! Ralphie and I are Master bunny kickers! We both love the rugs like you do and we have our kickers too! I know it sounds funny, but Mazie is a bunny kicker when she gets in her big bed and Mom “talks pretty” to her 🙂 Anne is a big bunny kicker, but Mom says she isn’t sure that Anne doesn’t think she isn’t half cat sometimes MOL!!! Beautiful picture of you Savvy!!!!!
Luvs to both of you!!!!
Marty
Maybe Anne IS half cat? Heh…heh
That is some excellent bunny-kicking, Sage! We’re all into it here, too. The comforter is fun, and our kick-sticks, too. 🙂
We don’t use the kicker toys…weird, huh?
Just last hour, TW got out my truffle toys. I had more fun with the box and the tissue paper on the floor. I bunny kicked them until there was nothing left. I was WILD! I’ll be giving some of those away at the end of the month.
Woo Hoo!! go BFGF! I’ll be watching for that give away

When Mum L can do thiss you will know shee iss ALL bettur an heeled! 😉
I must admit, I’m a sucker for kickin’ up a rug too, but I think most of us are around here!
heh…heh..well said my pal Brian
With toys and whatnot, I’m definitely a bunnykicker. I never bunnykick peeps’ arms though. Actually, none of us do but we’ve heard the stories of other cats who did. Apparently, some cats don’t like the ol’ tummy rubs. Can you believe it? MOUSES! Those are some of my favourite things, for sure.
Purrs,
Nissy
ummm…unfortunately, my Cuzin Leo does the bunny kick on Dad Dave’s arm if DD is not very careful. He doesn’t mean to hurt, he just gets over stimulated. Purrs back, Savvy
Sage, that’s quite the bunnykicking technique. I like to bunnykick my toys…’specially this one that’s a big ball. ~Ernie
Bunny kicks are so much fun ! We both do it ! Purrs
YEA! post some photos some time and make sure we know when you do. So much fun!
I love to bunny kick too. I didn’t play when I was so ill, but I have started to play again now. Mum laughs when I bunny kick my small soft rubber ball. She says it is too small for that but it still gets a good kicking.
MOL! Good for you Flynn. And I am overjoyed you are doing much better; anytime a cat can play means good health
Bunny kicking is SO much fun! MOL 😆 xx Roxy & Tigerlino ❤
You ought to post some pics of your technique
Ah! Bunny kicking! That was one of my favorite games until mes gotted arthritis. The other cats in our family does not do that.
Savvy! Can’t wait to sees yous later this week!
Kisses
Nellie
oh bummer Nellie. I am sorry the artrightus has kept you from this game. And I will make sure Mom L either finds some pics of me not used OR takes new ones. Can’t let that TKS have too much blog time ya know
Bunny kicking is fun, there are a lot of long toys made for that now- finally. Savannah, you are still number one.
TKS and I prefer the rug actually. We have those kickeroo toys but usually we send them to our alma mater Kitty Corner
Ha!! My huskies do that too!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Mom said hers did too! What do your huskies use? Do they kick a toy or do they prefer rugs like we do?
Hi Sage !
Me LOVE the Bunnykick game too 🙂
I mostly play that with my Kickeroo and sometimes with tha blanket in mom and dad´s bed 😀
XOXO
We have kickeroo and other toys to play bunny kick with but both of us prefer our Nip N Nap mats or the rug in front of Dad’s recliner to try to bunny kick
I’m a kicker too and sometimes my dad is covered with dirt when he accidentally is on the wrong place :o)
I can only imagine Easy!! The mental image is making Mom L LHBO!
Sometimes I bunny kick the blankets in my (Mom’s) bed. Then I accidentally bunny kick her, too. She says, “Get your bony legs on your own side!”
Love and licks,
Cupcake
MOL! What fun to bunny kick the blankets in bed. We haven’t tried that yet
she does love to play though Savvy,xx Speedy
TKS would be overjoyed if I would play with her…wish I knew how without being so afraid
Take your time,it will come with time,xx Speedy
I bunny kick, and so do Crockett and Angelique. Da dogs do it occashunally.
I have some woofies pals who said they also like an occasional bunny kick game.
We play this game once in a while with one of our toys.
Don’t you just love doing it when you do?
That looks like so much fun, Sage! I don’t bunny kick often, but when I do… I get a real KICK out of it! MOL – honestly, I do, though!
silly kitten Summer! MOL! Maybe you will grow to like it better and better. Savvy never ever did it until I arrived and showed her how
My Kessy loves that, too. She is addicted to wooly blankets and builds caves with them – and when I play with her with some piece of string on the edge of a blanket there will soon be the “bunny kick”. She deaddes the blanket very thouroughly, as well.
YES! TKS does that too when Dad P plays with her and pulls a sting under a blanket…she bunny kicks that blanket!
My Kessy seems to be a lot like TKS. She is not black, but she is as social and was the first who wanted to rub herself against my cat, when she was brought here. FunTom did not quite know what to make of that. Just the human thing took her some time to learn, unlike TKS.
Well done Sage! the girls especially Pickles love ths game..we call it the Kangaroochi though hahaa very much like roos kicking 🙂 Pickles prefers to do ths Dinnermintz head..a sizeable target…uhhmm mm lucky for Pip (Pickles) Dinnermintz doesn’t kick back! the doggies sort of do it on the grass 🙂 and Savvy sharing YOUR blog is very nice of you…loves Fozziemum xxx
I bet Dinnermintz is never pleased when Pip aims at her head for a bunny kick or two.
Hahaah NO! and she could squash Pip just by sitting n her..but she is a gentle girl and just tolerates it…always ends with Dinnermintz getting the cat version of a wedgie (her collar gets stuck half off her head ) bwahahaahah ..bless her ..I hope she never fights back or Pop will be in real trouble!! 🙂 xxx
