Friday Feline Mystery

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I am concerned. Mom L has been absent way more often than I expect. I wake from my short catnaps…no more than at least five nano hours… to find her gone. Yup, she is gone, gone, gone. No idea where…not one note left so I can ~~track~~ reach out to her if I have an urgent need. But, her favorite note pad is giving some clues…follow along and tell me what you think she is up to.

That red notepad thingy is very, very interesting. Mom L takes it when she goes out to do whatever…

I am sure I recognize those fragrances left on her note pad. They are both familiar and yet a bit disturbing. What in Ceiling Cat’s name is Mom L up to??

More later, I must go away and consult with my AdventurCat pals, Seville and Silver. If any of you, my readers, have ideas as to where I ought to focus my intel gathering, please do leave me a comment and I will be sure to assign The Kid Sage to exploring your input…THIS IS GONNA BE SERIOUS…just sayin’…

Wacky Bouncy Give Away

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

One month ago I gave out a little teaser about a possible Give Away coming from my blog…click here.

Well I was a tad premature in trying to tease my readers about an imminent upcoming Give Away. It took Mom L a month to track down the human who makes this incredible cat toy. Truly, you know how much I luvluvluv my peacock feathers, but I am a crazypants feline attack machine when Mom L hauls this wacky bouncy toy.(hover over photos to view captions…it’s worth it!)

A very creative woman, Ms Kristin, makes this fabulous toy and Mom L caught up with her at a fun event at a private animal shelter fund raiser. Ms Kristin makes this toy from metal clothes hangers. You all know about the Cat Dancer toy, right? Well I don’t pay it any attention…but this Greatest Cat Toy gets me going every time!.

Even better, Ms Kristin gives a portion of each sale of this toy to her favorite cat rescue Community Concern 4 Cats (CC4C). Yep, that’s right. This is the very same rescue where Mom L volunteers time when they have cat clinics. Also, my new hit blog series “I Am An Adult Homeless Foster Cat: Savannah reveals hopes and dreams” features adult foster cats from this same rescue. When Her Royal Highness Speaks…ummm…or not

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Have you ever had problems ‘speaking’ to your human guardian…in silent mode???

Can you hear me ???

After reading my pal Summer’s article in Catster, I realized I have not yet completely trained Mom L

I sit, wait, watch…while she plays on the computer. I can tell when she is doing serious stuff like my blog posts, and helping me to visit my pals…and when she is like just ‘messing around’ doing her human stuff.

I do not utter not one teeny tiny ‘meow’…I just wait…and watch…assuming she will read my mind and know exactly what I need and want…sigh…sadly this lesson has yet to be learned by her.

*silently* SCREAMING…CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW???

Nope…she offered me kibble, then wet food, then tried to play with me…then I led her downstairs to our my new area rug in the living room…she tried to play then sing to me…Good grief; all I wanted was a bit of brushing!!!

How do you get your wants and needs met when you try to silently communicate with your human??? I am so hoping someone can help me out with Mom L.
