Why humans purchase new sofas

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

So Mom L decided she needed a new, more firm sofa. Dad P said “sure”. But clearly they knew  that this new sofa was purchase for only one reason—for us cats!

I have been sitting on the new sofa for the last week, next to Mom L, at night so’s we can share TV watching. But Katie is the one kitty in my castle who waited a week to check out just where the warm afternoon sun lands on it. Then she plumped up the back cushion and made herself at home!

And she waited for like  two hours for that sun to move around and get to the spot she liked the most.

She stretched out and relaxed until the sun became even warmer.

And  then she finally gave way to any tenseness and totally relaxed. And this is why humans purchase new sofas. For us kitties!!!

Domino watches every bite Mom L or Dad P put in their mouths. He is like a vulture waiting for road kill!!

Katie knows this truth all too well. She is still afraid of being picked up so a sneak attack is the only way to get her into her carrier. Like an elephant, Katie never forgets who did it to her!!! MOL!!!

L’il ole me

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Mom L asked me to pose this  morning so’s she could try to grab some photos to show off my still very green/turquoise eyes. I sure hope you enjoy them.

I was watching a birdie on the balcony so that’s why I have that far away look in my eyes in the one below. Do you get like that when you see birdies outside??

 

And finally I dropped my head to consider just where to get comfy on the bed for my morning nap.

This is where I have breakfast every morning now. I like to have Mom L bring it upstairs so’s I don’t have to bother getting around the other three and the one foster.

Do you get breakfast in bed too??
