The Thief Is At It Again…

HIYA!!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

It’s a conundrum for sure. We all must be on constant guard. Surveillance cameras have been installed and motion detectors as well.

Can I talk with you frankly?

Can I talk with you frankly?

And a warning has been posted on our front door.

Wanted poster

Sadly, we have discovered, upon reviewing the digital photos from the cameras, that TKS attempted to abscond with parts of my Christmas card order from Zazzle. These photos have just been discovered. (be sure to hover over photos to view complete captions so you can hear what she was thinking)

Please, be on the look out. We don’t know if she goes to other homes while we are sleeping. She is sneaky to be sure.

This is just a friendly public warning. No harm will come to TKS if she is caught in person. Click HERE   to view her other exploits….

How Much Care Does A Human Require?

HIYA!  SAVANNAH HERE!!

A LOT! We just can’t let them out of our sight for long. They don’t seem to be able to manage much without us close by…no matter what ‘form’ we happen be in at the time.

Case in point…Mom L without me or TKS, thinking she is having fun…HA!!…just wait

As you can see, ‘we’ are not with her above,  but when the chips are down…who does she turn to???

She is soooo needy...sigh

She is soooo needy…sigh

Yes, I had to prepare Plush Savvy and Plush Sage for Dad P to sneak into the hospital so Mom l would have us when she came out of the ummmm, errrrr…’back room’…you know the room I mean, right?

Anyway, there we were, just waiting to comfort her, snuggle with her and even give her a giggle or two. You see, not one doctor or nurse or any other person who came into Mom L’s room could resist giving us scritches even in our Plush form. So we not only have to care for Mom L, but a bunch of hospital folks too. Our work is never done when it comes to humans.

Hey Mom L! How ya doing today?

Hey Mom L! How ya doing today?

Finally she came home. And again, we provided immediate close up and personal comforting and snuggles. (please click to bigify and hover over photo to see full captions)

Mom L gave back by pulling herself together, just barely home from hospital, to troubleshoot a problem with one of my scheduled blog posts.  Gotta love my Mom!

She is talking with Miss Julie, the human I borrowed from Ashton, Pierre and Newton from Sometime Cats Herd You. I asked if she could backup Mom L if something went wrong with my scheduled blog posts. A great big THANK YOU to all of them for helping us out.

As you can see Sage and I were right there to make sure Mom L knew we had her back.

I hope you all take good care of your humans; it will come back to you twice over, trust me.

The Discovery of Kleenex Tissue & A Birthday Wish

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

This is a special day. You see it is Mom L’s birthday TODAY! I helped her prepare this post before her ouchie surgery back on December 11.

She wanted something fun, funny and happy to motivate my readers to chuckle, smile and enjoy. I tapped my claw on the desk for about 2 nanoseconds before I came up with the following about none other than The Kid Sage.

She is usually good for a laugh…na’mean?

The photos are certainly NOT top quality as this all happened one morning while we were all hanging out in my master bedroom, watching the news and what not. TKS likes to explore the humans’ nightstands. She has been doing this for a year now.

Suddenly, she took notice of something on Mom L’s nightstand. It has always been there, but this time, unfortunately, TKS decided it required further inspection and sampling.

What is this? Has it always been here?

What is this? Has it always been here?

And then the analysis, sampling and discovery began.

Oh! It moves

Oh! It moves

Now testing for texture and durability.

I better take one to test it

I better take one to test it

Testing one was not enough.

Probably need several...*pull, yank*

Probably need several…*pull, yank*

The discovery continued. She found she needed more than her mouth to get her test samples where she wanted them for closer inspection.

Meowzers! I need my paws for leverage

Meowzers! I need my paws for leverage

It was unbelievable she paid absolutely no attention to Mom L’s attempts to distract her. Mom L moved the box to a lower level closer to her. TKS did not let it slow her down.

I can still reach it Mom

I can still reach it Mom

The shredding and ripping continued.

*sniff* wonder what they use this for. It certainly is fragile and tears easy

*sniff* wonder what they use this for. It certainly is fragile and tears easy

She finally reached her objective. The sample was placed just where she wanted. Her inspection and analysis of the tissue was about to swing into full action.

Now I have you just where I want you *shred, tear, munch*

Now I have you just where I want you *shred, tear, munch*

At this point…Mom L said “enough”!. And The Kid Sage was disappointed for about 2 -3 nanoseconds until Dad P caught her attention with her favorite wand toy…a wand, with black string and nothing attached to it. So much for all those feathery attachments.

The end result of Sage discovering Kleenex tissue

The end result of Sage discovering Kleenex tissue

Should any of you be wondering; this discovery continues to catch her attention. Now, she never passes up a tissue box without trying out the tissue. We fear the end result if she ever discovers the toilet paper rolls….*shudder; rolls eyes*
