5 Tips to Maintain Hierarchy During Hunting Practice
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
I bet some of you have already pulled out your iPads or Smart phones to start taking notes, right?
As you all know, we cats must have daily hunting skill practice to maintain our feline predator nature. For us indoor only cats, it is important to engage our human guardians in this practice session as we must have moving targets.
My preferred practice target is the every illusive peacock feather wand. It can be moved at any speed thus insuring that I engage all my feline stealth skills during practice.
Tip Number One: Immediately establish eye contact with the target at start of practice session.
Where is it?
Tip Number Two: Do not allow the target to pull a sneak attack by losing said eye contact.
aiiee!!! Where did that come from?!!!
Tip Number Three: Never hesitate to use all four sets of claws to insure you can destroy the target.

Tip Number Four: By no means ever, never, ever allow the target to launch a sneak attack when you are engaged in our feline incessant need to continually give our fur a quick lick or two during hunting practice.

Tip Number Five: Always take time at the end of hunting practice session to let the target know you were in charge all along.
