Tippy Paws Tightrope

HIYA !!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

We had an introoder for 4 days this past weekend. I have seen her before. She is the Ceiling Cat Daughter (‘god’-daughter in peep speak) of Dad P and Mom L.

When she has come before I hide mostly. She likes to sit in bed with Mom L in the morning which makes it tough on me because that is one of my special times of day with Mom L…I snuggle close while she reads blogs to me and I dictate my comments.

But this time, I was pretty chilled…

Not a care in the world...lickity, lick

Not a care in the world…lickity, lick

Seriously, I was the ‘Queen of Chill’!!!

I even settled down next to Mom L, snuggled in close and warm while Miss Claudia was tucked in the other side of the bed and we were all reading, watching TV and sharing blogs. At least until The Kid Sage decided to make her way over to Mom L’s side of the bed.

She does this almost every morning. She uses tippy paws to walk the very farthest edge of the bed so as to not disturb me. Taught her well I did!

I am so relaxed, BUT I see you TKS

Now don’t you all think I was the image of chillaxation and good will???

Being Together

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I know lots of you are hoping I will one day jump up and start playing with The Kid Sage and even sleeping snuggled against her.

Don’t hold your breath, okay?

This is the best I can do thus far.  And as always, it causes lots of photo taking just to prove that we settled down in the same room, not far from each other when the humans were not looking. They surprise easily…heh…heh (hover over photo to view complete caption)

Actually, as long as I am nice and settled in; I don’t care much what TKS does as long as she does it at least 3-4 cat body lengths away from me…na’mean??  Saturday, Dad P was changing out our litter boxes…he put the top on the end of my bed…and TKS simply could not resist. Who am I to tell her the ‘new bed’ is her litter box cover.

A Moment of Shared Bird Watching

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

We had some really nice, warmish weather this week so window whiffies were finally offered to us. The humans opened the slider doors in the kitchen and the great big one in my our living room. Bird and squirrel TV had stupendous reception and fascinating programming that day!

Feels like someone is watching over my shoulder. Naaawww...couldn't be...

The birds were flying all over the yard; from feeding station to feeding station. We even had lots of hummers.

Whoa! Look at that hummer dive bomb the finch!

I sat there enjoying the regularly scheduled programming. But all the while, I kept feeling another presence.

Now the House Finches are running everyone off the seed feeder...heh...heh...competition

Again, I felt a need to look over my shoulder; but the action was too exciting to take my attention away from outside.

Hey Savvy!! Look at those squirrels chasing each other!!

Then I heard The Kid Sage, TKS, shout out my name as she darted across the living room to get a better look at some silly squirrel episode which I am sure was likely a re-run. That’s when I KNEW I was right all along…someone WAS behind me!

Hisssssss...I let her know I knew she was there but all she left behind was a glimpse of her tail

Thus ended our ‘unknown’ to me ‘shared’ bird watching and window whiffing.
