Someone idolizes TKS

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I  think most of you know that we have a foster brofur living with us. As for me, I’m not pleased, not pleased at all. I hiss so hard and loud that I have to koff and clear my throat when I’m done! And half an hour later, there he is back again trying to touch my nose. Sheesh!!

Okay, he does throw himself down right in front of me showing his tummy and being all submissive as well he should be, but I gotta tell ya, I sure do hope he finds his forever home really soon.

As for TKS, she is now allowing nose touches on a rare occasion. The foster brofur Pipsqueak seems to idolize TKS. Maybe it’s the fur color? What do you think?

TKS is crazy over an type of treat, and Pip is right there next to her. Pip has even tried to copycat TKS getting into our high cat tower in our master bedroom. Mom L was lying on her side and managed to capture some drunken looking photos of what TKS thinks about having Pip on the tower with her.

He’s down on the next level, right?

Look at Pip’s idolizing gaze.

Ok kid, you better stay one story down

Pip knew he couldn’t go up to the next story or else he’s get a paw whap for sure. Finally TKS fixed the situation so’s she could get her afternoon nap without feeling spied on.

You can watch my back kid

Yep, TKS turned to face the wall and by golly so did Pip!! MOL!!

Do any of your fur siblings idolize your every move?? Tell me how in comments.

Monday Meowsie News

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Lots of stuff going on around my castle since last Monday. Some of ordinary like me hissing a The Kid Sage and her tryin’ to get a whiffy of my butt, etc.  You all know how that goes, right??

Anywho…I have had my own moments of getting older start to show up. Mom L caught me comin’ down the stairs just as I staggered and fell on my left hip. My left knee is pretty bad with that arty-right-us stuff. Can any of you relate???

Nonetheless, I can still play on my carpeted stairs and I am developing my own personalized work out on my couch stairs too. Just give me a shout out if you want my new Savannah’s Short Step Workout video.

After a work out like that I need some time to just chill out, meditate and enter my own personalize “Zen” zone.

Zen cat

The Zen state is described as “the state of “no-mindness”. That is, a mind not fixed or occupied by thought or emotion and thus open to everything.”

Seriously, what cat can’t relate to THAT notion!!???? Let me know in comments how you get into your own personal ” Zen Zone”.

And this last week has seen some changes in The Kid Sage. She is succumbing to the wiles of our “foster” kid Kit Katie. Yes, yes…I know it is unbelievable but I have actually witnessed them doing “thundering head of elephants” at four AM!! Back and forth up and down the upstairs hallway. Sheeesh. They even head butt each other and TKS allows Katie to sidle up to her and rub against her. Thankfully the humans have NO photo evidence of this but I tell you it is real!

But you can tell that TKS is proud of her ability to be flexible enough to accept Kit Katie.

Wait! What? I didn’t say I was softie!!

Ok, well maybe TKS is still trying to avoid being a “softie” but hey, she just chills whenever Kit Katie is around. What more can I say.

Yeah, yeah…so I let Kit Katie have my last treat…big deal!

So, Kit Katie will remain with us until she can get past her problematic health challenges. Mom L and Dad P have been out a lot more green papers trying to get her leaky right eye treated. It will likely always leak but at least now she seems more comfortable. We will leave Katie posted on three websites but we are not longer taking her to any adoption events. She simple cannot withstand the stress. It challenges her immune system.

This is why Kit Katie will no longer be hosted at the end of my blog. Just want you all to know she is safe with us.

Over the Threshold and Through the Door We Go

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Catchy title don’t you think? Well, it’s about time I give you a peek at some of the incredible progress I have been making since we moved to our permanent home. Mom L thinks this home is changing all of us in lots of cool ways, and me especially.

I We have this really nice small balcony off of my our master bedroom. It was made especially charming when we had the redwood replaced to clean up some dry rot. Anyway, now it’s all nice and whatnot, Mom L used some gift cards Dad P got a while back to purchase a nice little table and chairs for them to enjoy having coffee on said balcony in the mornings.

Guess who they invited to join them the first time they used the balcony? Yup! Me and The Kid Sage. Now unfortunately when they made this invite, I was down stairs taking my second nap so TKS was the first to be invited OUTSIDE!

Hey! This air smells really fresh!

TKS enjoyed herself lots as she explored the balcony and what lies beyond and under it.

Is that our master bedroom on the other side? Am I outside??

Silly cat. She knew she was taking the big step to the outside.

Gosh, I can see all of our patio and the water.

And then she made a most remarkable discovery.

Hey Dad P! I can see through this crack all the way down!!

At least she didn’t forget about me getting my chance to be outside.

‘Scuse me, I’m gonna go get Savvy so she can be outside too.

I don’t know if TKS was ever outside before she came to live at my castle. But I sure was outside way more than I wanted to be. So being outside hasn’t been at the top of my priority list, na’mean?? I spent enough time outside trying to fend for myself and it wasn’t pretty. But, Mom L offered me the decision to be outside with her.

What Mom L? I know the door is open.

I could feel the really fresh air and I knew there was no screen between me and that redwood deck.

I don’t know if I wanna go out. Been there, done that

I took my time thinking through my choices.

Oh alright. I’ll come outside and have a look see just to please TKS.

I knew TKS was gonna interrogate me once I went back downstairs, so I took a little “walk about”.

Hmmm…looks like the neighbors have some pretty flowers on their patio.

Mom L wasn’t expecting me to do a critique of our out doors area, but hey? She invited me out, right?

Mom L? What don’t we have any pretty flowers for me and TKS to enjoy on our patio?

Ok, ok—maybe I was to quick to judge. I know we haven’t been here that long and Mom L has been busy with other stuff. So I moved right along.

Wow! I can see the water even better from here! Is that a fishie I saw jumpin’??

No kidding, we have fish in our fresh water marina and people fish for the fishies all the time from their boat docks. Our water moves all day long with the tides from the two river delta area.

I was very relaxed being outside once again, much to Mom L’s relief and mine. I am growing in my confidence every day since we moved here. Why I even allowed one of Mom L’s friends to pet me last week. In fact, I INVITED her to join me on my our new living room area rug to rub my whole body, give me ear rubs AND I let her pet my tummy!! Yes, I really did!! That, my pals, is progress!!
