Morning Routine for The Kid Sage

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Most of you know that Mom L, Dad P and TKS and me all have a really nice morning routine. For those who don’t know about this let me give you a run down on how it goes—every single morning.

  1. Wake up call from me or TKS
  2. Dad P goes down to make our breakfast with TKS on his heels
  3. I usually remain in our bedroom with Mom L who prepares the bed for her to relax and prepares Dad P’s chair and light for him to relax and then she sets up the TV for the AM news they like.
  4. Dad P brings up coffee or tea for him and Mom L and also my breakfast. He knows I like to eat in our bedroom.
  5. TKS goes digging under the “treat pillow” to get her morning Greenies.
  6. I nibble then leave for about 20 minutes and then I come back and Dad P gets up from his chair to give me my remaining breakfast.
  7. After I finish I ask him to give me some pets and he obliges by following me around the bedroom as I meow to him sharing my morning thoughts.
  8. TKS climbs up on Mom L’s chest between her and her iPad as she attempts to visit blogs and demands attention.
  9. I leave the bedroom once my needs are met.
  10. TKS retires to the tall cat tree in a corner in the bedroom once she gets her treats and snuggles with Mom L.

Here is The Kid Sage aka TKS now retired to her cat tower for her morning nap.

What Mom L? You know I am done with you for now, right?

As Mom L points that pesky iPhone in TKS’ face, TKS meets it half way.

Who Said You Have My Permission???

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Based on what I know at this time, I believe that Mom L has some serious explaining to do. Let me ask you, my readers and my furriends. Just how close do you allow your humans get to your toesies?? I am totally serious! And what is the big deal with how humans seem to find our feline paws so engaging??

Hey there! Get that smart phone outta my face…umm…outta my toesies’ space!

Now I realize that my toesies are particularly fascinating to Mom L. She seems to think that my hind toesies almost look like little “human fingers” covered in white fur. Do you think my hind toesies look like that??

Fingers or pawsies??

Super Cat Returns

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

You met my alter ego Super Cat last week. Some of my readers gave me a chuckle cuz that thought Super Cat was The Kid Sage!! Goodness no! I, HRH Savannah, have that alter ego and I am plenty pleased that so many of you enjoyed meeting her. I really have fun when I switch into my Super Cat identity. And my super duper flying cape changes color!

mmpff—ooopphhff! Changing my super flying cape is hard work!

I have to spend time covered by my cape, especially if it is a new one, so we can become as one. That way I don’t lose my super flying cape when I dash off to help other cats in need.

Once we have an understanding then I am good to go flying! Don’t we look smashing together?  None of my human pals back at my former shelter Kitty Corner will believe how much of a brave cat I have become. I am having the time of my nine lives!

My paws are twitching and my tail is flipping—ready to fly!
