Still Trying New Things

Hiya, Savannah here.  As this is Saturday Blog Hop…I will make this short so I can get moving on the  hop!

I am still finding new places to relax in my house…and gettin’ even more comfy in some of them I already discoverd…ya know…letting myself sort of stretch out, hang out…so to speak…

The new/old sun puddle spot on the stairs is becoming one of my faves…I’m just gettin’ more relaxed about using it…

..you can see I’m pretty catgone relaxed in this spot now…

Then lately, Dad and Mom couldn’t find me…and lo and behold…I had rediscovered an old hiding spot they made for me in their closet when I first came here…I just decided it was a really nice, dark spot to nap on Hoover Thursday or when loud guests come over…

…then there is always the old stand by, my bed in Mom’s office window…I’m just not comfy staying in it when she uses her office…still don’t know why I quit hanging out with her…but I love this bed when I can have the office to myself…ummmm…purrrr….

…now my new spot…oh cat! Is this ever great!!! Dad left the slider open from our breakfast room to the humongous deck outside…nice sunny warm day…and there is this mat in front of the slider…I always  sit on this mat to tidy up after I have had a drink from my fountain or a snack…who knew I would find SUN PUDDLES here too…and a nice warm breeze…yes!

…so I wanted you all to know I’m still exploring, trying out new spots, getting more comfy in old spots, and rediscovering old spots I can use to nap, not hide…

Happy Saturday Blog Hop

Paw pats, Savannah

  1. You have wonderful sun and nap spots! The photo of you on the stair, dangling that footie…well, some of the boys here ran for the icebox, if you know what we mean!

  2. Nice spots you have! I like the stairs and in front of the deck, but all look good!
I love to change favorite spots regularly too, so that I can rediscover them later!

  3. Hey Savannah, Jet here.

Oh, special spots really hit the spot! You look particularly precious in your bed… I have 2 safe spots, one in my man cave in Mom’s office and one in Mom’s closet. (closets are GOOD discoveries!) Enjoy your sunpuddle spots, my feline brothers like them, too.

  4. Thanks for stopping by my place today. You sure got a nice home and a very nice blog! I saw your pony dance, you sure do it up right! Have a happy weekend!!!

  5. I think you’re doing great.

Malachi was distressed when Jen got back Thursday. It’s been several months and yet he remembered he’d been abandoned before and was afraid he had been again.

After she’d been back a couple of hours he came out of his hiding spot. Then a few hours after that he walked up to her and meowed at her really loud. I think he was telling her to never pull that crap again.

    Since then, he’s been fine.

    • yep…I have to really chew out Mom and Dad when they leave me…I have a really abrassive meow when I am stressed…and I repeat it over and over again…and I am sending Malachi an emergency ration of paw hugs and paw pats

  6. you sure have some wonderful areas to discover! Nice and sunshiny!! Love your bed!
