Oh Savannah I know you are ever so worried and anxious but it sounds like things are about to settle back down after this weekend and Monday’s BIG move. Once you can snuggle with Mom and Dad in the new house and have the same bed and covers and afghans – same “smells” in new surroundings, you will begin to relax and realize that all three of you moved TOGETHER and are staying TOGETHER. Always and forever. I think you will like your new house too with all the new spots to explore! Sorry your Mom hurt her knee – bad timing for sure AND since she’s had a knee replacement before, let’s hope once she’s OFF her feet and resting it will be just fine. We’re sending lots of CALMING thoughts to you dear friend…….

thank you Sammy, we can all use some Sammy hugs. We will be together, just not in our OWN home. Dad is just now feeling that fact and its hard for him. We really liked our home and neighborhood and our home is so much nicer than the rental…but heck…we are so much better off than so many others who have to give their homes back to the bank. Knowing that still doesn’t make it any less depressing nor sad. sigh…oh, Mom and I just had a short but very nice playtime…I feel better after that…whew!
AWW…. My Mum and I are sorry you have been so stressed, Savannah. We hope you manage to settle down really soon…

oh no! you are moving too? How far? where? how many of you? oh no! It is hard with just one cat, me, and my two senior pawrents! Tell your Mommy that mine has been stressed for months over moving me! SHe is getting a kitty cocktail from my Vet today for moving day…you know, I can’t be picked up yet…sigh

Moving is stressful! Our nephew Ceasar just moved. He is finding the whole experience a little un-nerving. He hided in his cube all day the first day while our human brother Alex was at work, Alex knows because he had not eated his foods. But he walked around the condo last night when Alex was home and was investigating!
He likes all the windows way more than his old place!

oh thank you Nellie. I will learn to live there as long as Mom and Dad are with me. Change is hard for all 3 of us. Mom and Dad have not rented in 30 years. Touch time in their lives too, but they know they have me to care for and that helps them focus on something really positive!

Sorry I’ve been absent for a few days. TW has really dry eyes and can’t stay at the computer too long. Did you move? I’ll check out the older posts. I hope things will get back to normal soon and you’ll be playing with your feathers.
not moved yet CK…sorry TW has dry eyes…my Mom has had that and no fun! Our BIG move, like furniture is MOnday 24th and we spend our first night in new place.

oh yes I do…and Mom and Dad left all the clothes I like best to hide behind in our closet…and they have kept our bedroom free from moving stuff…but it is very stressful and I miss Mom spending more time with me…

moving is what’s up…Mom doesn’t have time to play as much…and someone is constantly coming, going and stuff is being moved and packed and on and on…and I am getting pretty anxious…fear of being abandoned is never far away…Mom and Dad know this…but we have only been together for 9 months…not long when you come with the baggage I did…sorry…was that too much detail???…sigh
Not too much detail at all Savannah. I know all about the type of baggage you have to carry around with you and I so understand how traumatic the move must be. Fear not, though, because your parents will never desert you (even if it’s happened before, you are safe this time around). The whole zoo here will be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way.
