Caturday Photo Hunt…Knitted
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Mom said we are joining the Caturday Photo Hunt…this one is easy…”KNITTED”…I do luvluvluv my knitted afghans…ever since I first arrived…
…this afghan was my special first hiding spot…
…and I used it for the naps I took in our bedroom chair…which I won’t even get up on anymore…
…my most fave knitted afghan is my blue one…I used to luvluvluv playing “Oh My!! Mice In Our Bed”! …sadly I never play that anymore either…
…and I relax on my blue afghan to get my special scritches from Mom…
…and here I am using TWO of my knitted afghans…I was pawing my blog post on my iPad…
…and of course it is my Winter thick afghan I use for my naps…
…and this is the one Dad makes my special tent with…
All in all, I’d say I am one knitted loving ladycat…
Paw pats, Savannah

Oh sweetheart! You look warm and happy and so at home. I love MY knitted things too.
Katie I!!! Hi! I come read you every day, but I can’t leave a comment using my iPad; so very sorry. It freezes when I try to publish my comment. I will come by today on my laptop. And I am always warm using my afghans!
You certainly have plenty of afghans to enjoy Savvy. They do make fabulously cozy nap spots whether you’re UNDER them on ON TOP of them!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
you are so right…Mr connoisseur of all things warm and snuggly! paw hugs Savannah
You have a lot of very nice afghans there! Does your mom knit them? I think the first one with the turquoise and peachy color really compliments your beautiful coat! 🙂
We all wish she did…but alas no…these are the only ones we will ever have. The one you mention was made about 15 years ago by the wife of a HS friend of Dad’s…she made it to thank Dad and Mom for having her daughter stay with them while she looked at colleges (they lived in Arizona and she was looking at So Calif colleges)
You have lots of great knitted afghans, Savy. We love your little tent! Happy Sunday. xoxo
You guys should have Mom and Dad make a tent for you…it will help you feel safe while you continue to get acquainted with your new home…I am still getting stuff sorted out here and we have lived here for 4 months now! AND there is only ONE of me!
You certainly have lots of knitted afghans! They all look nice and snuggly too.
You’ve got some pawsome KNITTED snoozy places!!
The Florida Furkids
bet you guys don’t need them very often living in Florida!
You look so cozy!!
Cotton
very! I bet your fur is very cozy too
Is your Mommy the knitter, Savvy? Our Mommy has always wanted to learn how. Our favorite afghan is your tent one!
Nope Miss Tricia…mom couldn’t get two needles of anything together…and actually that afghan I use for my tent is Mom’s fave…her grandmother made it for her when she got married, 36 years ago!!! And she used Mom’s fave earth colors…it is all cotton, and very thick and heavier than the other two
Oh that red really compliments your fur!!!!
awww Rumpy…that’s just what my Dad says too!
Hey Savannah,
They’re awesome, you must be so cozy buddy!! 🙂
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
hey, hey, hey Snoopy…I saw that your xray of your hind end was good, no hip dysplasia…pawsome! I bet you will be running around like a crazy Snoopy Mischief Maker very soon, paw pats, Savannah
I’m feeling a little chilled today…not as warm as yesterday, is it? Perhaps you’d like some company in your little pillow-cave? I’ll be over soon–don’t tell the Humans, okay?
you are always most welcome over here to snuggle with me Spitty…we could really get the paw blog world talking huh? MOL
Savannah, you have some very pretty afghans! Of course, what wouldn’t like pretty with you on them!
awwww…Callie…you go on so….blushing….purrrrsss
They look so cosy, I think I should try and get one of those, then I could make a cave and hide from Raffy!
purrfect Zena..peeEss Mom Linda had a LONG talk with Mom Lori (Jet’s Mom) today…she is really doing great, very much improved in spirit and energy for sure. And we agree, you needs must write your stories as a book…we can all have book project together this year. Mine will be after my last Real Rescue Cats/Dogs Are Talking Interviews in July. Then I will have 12 of each…let’s talk books sometime
All of your afghans look so cozy! We can see why you like to curl up on them and take a snooze.
well I bet you would too, huh?! I have been by to visit you recently, hope you saw me in your comment queue; I know I have been sporadic lately….so sorry
You have lots of lovely knitted afghans to snuggle on or in.
bet you guys have stuff for snuggles too…and you have the great outdoors to explore together, nice
Aww, great pictures Savvy! Looking lovely on all your knitted goodness!
Hi Miss Andrea..hug Star and Leo for me; we luvluvluvd the photo of Leo’s sister and her big floofy paws…if she was a boy cat, Mom would probably have bought her a plane ticket to come live here in San Francisco bay area with us! Yup, I may get a pal in a few months; we’ll see
They look nice and snuggly:-)
awww…Misaki, you would like them too I think, especially after having a big snow play session!
I can almost hear you purr on your blue afghan 🙂
why yes, yes, that IS ME!! You are HEARING ME purring…MOL
The blue blankies suit you so much.My cats steal my sweaters when I take them off,I think they like my smell on them.I often can’t get them back for days or until they are covered with cat hair.
oh thank you, Dad really likes to see me on it…he says it brings out my furrs bestest of all
You have lots of knitted aghans to snuggle up in. We have some, too. They are the greatest.
Oja
waving paw to Oja!! How can anyone not luvluvluv afghans, huh?!

awwww thanks tons Speedy!
Lucky you, Savanna! We don’t have ONE afghan here. And they look so comfy!
WHAT??!! Take that sweater she threw down, and make that baby YOUR afghan…she doesn’t need that knitted sweater anyways! MOL
You got more knitted blankies than Target! MOL! By Target I mean the big store, not the cat. You’re one lucky cat.
LMFBO!! I know which Target you mean CK! Those are the only ones, they wear out there won’t ever never be anymore
Hey, we think knitted caves are WAY cool! We need to get the mommy to do that for us!
just grab a blankie and toss it over some pillows, and tawdaw!! TENT!
Love it. Been a long time since I knitted anything but a poem. LOL! But these are lovely.
you can bet Mom DID NOT make these, the Winter one was made by Mom’s Grandmother in the early 1980’s, and blue one by a work friend in the early 70’s and the striped with blue by a friend in the 90’s
… a gift to have generous AND talented humans in ones life, eh Savannah? 🙂
Happy weekend from Gypsy and Jamie.
Beautiful knitted havens 😉
HI Miss Annie!! Yes, I do luvluvluv them lots!
A snuggly kitty just can’t have too many knitted blankies. Have a cuddly Saturday. xoxo
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Hi Cupcake! I bet you like snuggly blankies too, I know we cats aren’t the only ones…heh…heh
We love, love, love afghans in our house too and are blessed that our human is obsessed with crocheting new ones all the time!! They are just so warm, cozy, and comfy!
I WISH my Mom knitted, crocheted, something…at least she had friends and family who made something useful…thank Cod!
I love your face in picture # 4 – it looks like “life is beautiful” to me ;o) You are a knitted loving ladycat ;o)
ohhhh…blushing Easy…you always give me such lovely compliments…and life is pretty great for me…except I hear my annual vet visit is rather imminent…ugh
I have my annual torture-appointment soon – think I need more ice cream to bear this ;o)
There’s nothing like snuggling down into one of our knitted afghans.
aren’t they just simply the best ever!!??
