Who Goes There #introoder?!
HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
You know I don’t mind TKS being here, at least most of the time it’s ok by me. But sometimes she seems to think she is ‘top’ cat in this house.
Seriously, who the heck does she think she is? All I was doing was getting my face tided up before getting my breakfast. She acts all “OMC! Who is that?!!”. Like she hasn’t figured out yet that I, HRH Savannah, am first cat around here and I can go and do whatever I please.
Sometimes I have to be stern with her; you know, make sure she understands her place. Usually it just takes some eye contact on my part and a little movement in her direction…then she gets the real picture and backs off.
That’s about all I have to do. Sometimes I have to give a little smacky paw to make sure she gets the full message, but this time she got it right away. Harummph! Calling me an introoder in my castle…*shakes head*
All’s well that ends with me keeping TKS in her proper place…behind me…heh…heh.
And the smacky paws win again. Seriously, I have GOT to teach my Peep #1 how to do the smacky paw, for sure. MOUSES!
Purrs,
Seville
Oh dear maybe you just startled her a bit Savvy, still i’m sure you will work things out,xx Speedy
Scylla still treats Fenris like an intruder sometimes. She is pretty good about recognizing the rest of us.
Well at least she is tolerating touching furs with Y & Y
Poor TKS, she just wants you to love her.
I know, truly I know
How dare her not know that it’s still your castle and she’s a guest, even if you have kinda accepted her.
You gotta keep TKS in line, Savvy. We can’t believe she hasn’t learned yet.
Mew mew mew Savannah wee Burmesey types tend to bee a ‘littul’ bossy….
“What LadyMum?”
OK wee Burmesey katss are ALOT bossy Savannah….**sighss**
LadyMum knowss mee so-o well, mew mew mew…
Iss good you keep Sage inn her place…… 😉
***nose kissesss*** Dharth Henry xXxXx
It’s like mice, if you let them get on top of you you’ll…er… have mice on top of you. OK bad analogy but TKS needs to respect the paw and NOT get above himself or you. I,m sure he won’t do that again. purrs
Once a kid…always a kid…TKS has much to learn!
The REAL Maple Syrup Mob xxxxx
Hmmmm, maybe TKS needs Santa to bring her some spectacles:)
Woos – Ciara and Lightning
Bwahahahaha…good one guys!
Cat politics can be tricky Savannah! But you are very good at asserting your superiority 🙂
the critters in the cottage xo
Gosh, do you think I am too pushy? I fret about being seen by my anipals as showing too much tough love to TKS *furrowed brow*
The eyes tell the whole story. TKS should never question your authority, Savannah. Her ears were being quite disrespectful in their positioning. Good job putting her in her place. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Have a delicious weekend!
You too
Well, I guess she’s just reminding you that she’s THERE……I think she knows you’re the Queen of the Castle….she’s just your “understudy” !!!
Love, Sammy
You are spot on Sammy.
You have to show the kids who is in charge all the time, Savvy, they might walk all over you, if you let them…so better you put him in front of you, so you can see him 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend 🙂 ❤
Good advice Binky. I do try hard to keep her in front of me
When I first got here, Binga tried to tell me she was in charge, but my notes from Sparkle said I was since I inherited her blog! You can imagine what kind of conflicts that caused! But we eventually worked them out.
I still hope I can at least learn to play with Sage. We won’t ever cuddle, but it would be fun if I could play with her
We top cats MUST keep the younger whippersnappers in line! – Princeton
I sure would like a peek at the notes you have on how you managed to keep your whipper snappers in place
It’s ok, Savy, the days would be boring, wouldnt they, if she did not come up with shenanigans like that.
Absolutely. Although she does cause more stress in my life than my tummy can handle…more about that in upcoming posts
Ouch, but you know that may not be the Kid, that may be the move to a new home and your readjustment to it.
My tummy problems started about 3-6 months after she came. I was on anti depressant for a few weeks, but the drug made me too lethargic and did not help me deal with TKS. Even my constipation started after she arrived. Don’t worry,TKS isn’t going anywhere. If I can stick to raw food, it really does make me feel lots better
3 to 6 months is quite long … I would have thought if it is really TKS you would have reacted earlier.
Sometimes a lil smacky paw is needed!
Well, yes, it is isn’t it
Ohh wow the cheeky monkey. These youngsters need to show some respect – right? Un-believable!!
Thanks for understanding guys!
