Savannah's Paw Tracks

Autobiography of a Former Shelter Cat

Monday Meowsie News

Not a ton of stuff going on in my castle this past week EXCEPT for the new news Mom L posted on her Facebook page. Now the photo was taken in the darkest hour of the early morning so you only get a backside view, but from this you can verify just who this kitty is.

Yes!! Katie finally moved over to Mom L’s side of the bed one night this week. She is becoming an “equal opportunity bed warmer” for both Mom L and Dad P.

As for what’s up with me this week, I am starting to take back my place on my our couch at night with Mom L. As you may recall, KK has been trying to steal borrow this prize location. You’d think Mom L could’a caught me in a more favorable pose though, na’ mean??

What? I was just making sure my tail is still attached!

If you missed my Friday Memes, they you are gonna appreciate me sharing this photo with you. Mom L volunteered her time one afternoon at a “Kitchen Clinic” with Community Concern For Cats, CC4C, and was sure she saw a bunch of white ferrets show up!! She shook her head and looked outside again and this is what she saw.

Yoo hoo?? Anybody out there????

These six kittens, four all white, one white with black accessories and one with a dab of light gray paint on top of his head, are one of THREE litters of white kittens all from the same dad!! Three different tabby moms and dad is also a tabby?? Go figure!!

Mom L met another adult cat at this clinic. He just showed up in his foster Mom’s backyard a couple of days before the clinic. Not neutered and begging to be held constantly. He had some real vocal cords this one did!! MOL!!  Miss Gemma who runs this clinic would have to pick him up and carry him around the room to collect worming meds and claw whackers for his care.

Isn’t he a handsome Bengal boy?

Let me hear in comments what’cha think is the most inner’esting Meowsie News this week!

  1. What can we say; all things come to those that wait, including sofas and bed warmers 😉
You sure have had some delightful cats come through, and I know that isn’t always the case, but it does show that there are lots out there that could go to good homes very quickly.

I’m glad that KK is making herself at home and that you, Miss Savvy, got your spot back on your couch. That Bengal kitty is so cute! I think those white kittie’s dad (aka, Mr. Love Machine) needs a visit to the snippers. 😉 Thank you for helping the community cats.
