Tigger Update: Friday Frolics

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Well, I am late today but I have a very, very good reason…
You see Tigger is having a long weekend at Kitty Corner, my former shelter, while his foster guardian Miss Tammy has a get-away. The good news is that now Tigger will meet more of the volunteers and they will obviously luvluvluv him so much they will talk to all their friends.
And even better, over the weekend is when the public often visit Kitty Corner to pick out a kitty to whom they want to offer a forever home. And Tigger is such a great big love bug…we just know if the perfect peeps show up…then Tigger will be snatched up!!! Keep all paws crossed, okay???
The bad news is that Mom L and Dad P need to go over each morning and evening to give Tigger some pain med. The vet clinic that did his dental 2 weeks ago failed to give him any antibiotics before or after his dental…and he had severe gingivitis and required extraction of both his upper molars which are the largest teeth in a cat’s mouth…so stitches. Still, no antibiotic was considered and guess what??
Yep, Tigger developed an infection so Mom L and Dad P took him to the vet again and they finally gave him both an antibiotic injection and some pain med. Tigger is feeling a WHOLE lot better now!
Check out the ‘SELFIES’ Tiggy took this morning when Mom L had him in her lap (Tiggy loves laps and brushes)
Mom L was feeling pretty eager to get more new images of Tigger so she also tried doing a video using her smart phone. Miss Lisa from A Tonk’s Tail taught a great session at this year’s Blog Paws about how to do short videos to help promote shelter cats…(turn up your sound…you might hear him purring right at the beginning)
So, how do you think Mom L did with her first try at doing a promotion video for Tigger??? Besides the fact that she stuck her finger over the camera once and giggled it some…oh, and she forgot to mention Tigger’s age and how he has all his vaccines and he is micro chipped…sigh…Mom L still has lots to learn.
One last thing…several of you wanted to know how that DIY project turned out for Dad P and The Kid Sage…
A project near and dear to Dad P’s heart…BIGGER SOUND for the TV…both of us, me and The Kid Sage are not pleased. Dad P put up those surround sound thingys…and they about blast us both off the couch or chair where we sit at night with Mom L and Dad P. But, if it makes him happy…after all…he is the one who makes our breakfast…
Paw Pats, Savannah
