My Friday Is Great: How’s Yours?

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Just checking in with my pals to learn how your Friday is going. I, am having a pretty nice day, all things considered.

Friday is better than Thursday

Friday is better than Thursday

You see I have not been feeling great lately. I haven’t truly played with Mom L for about 2 or more weeks.

Yup, you guessed it. Off to the Vet I went. They poked, prodded, shoved that unmentionable up my you know where. Then they depleted my blood volume by taking it right from my jugular (ick!!) and lastly…most terrible…they hacked off my lovely claws.

I also received some alien substance called “hydration” and then some tummy settling alien formula called “Pepcid’.

So this is MY FRIDAY!  If you don’t like it, don’t look. (hover to view complete captions…truly…you wanna see them…just sayin’)

I have nothing more to say.

Ready? Set! ACTION!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I want to share the results of some of the coaching I have been giving The Kid Sage. This is all about teaching her some of the Hunter Action Moves I learned from reading about and watching my personal coach, Mama Cat OTRB (The Blog of Otis) If you missed her training sessions before she left for The Bridge last year, you can click on the link above and review her many quality training posts.

Moving on, so I am actually demonstrating one of my very own special Hunter Action Moves in this next photo. The Kid Sage has yet to master this move as she cannot keep her butt still long enough. I call it “Straight Leg Butt Down Scout” position.

Mama Cat had a marvelous signature hunting move she called her Flying Squirrel move. I decided to modify that to better suit my personality and I created the floor version of her Flying Squirrel.

The other move I think is most important for The Kid Sage to learn is the Half Twist Snatch and Grab move. Again, I choose to perform the ‘floor’ version.

I will let you be the judge as to whether or not my little ‘grasshopper’ sister The Kid Sage has learned any Hunter Action Moves from me.

A Princess in Her Castle

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Some might say I am spoiled. Others might say I am privileged. And even more might say I am royalty. I prefer to go with the last perception.

I am, HRH Savannah, the Princess of my Castle. I don’t think I need say more, right??? (be sure to hover over photos to view complete captions, paw pats, S)

Yes, I most always have my dinner served in the living room. The Kid Sage simply cannot keep her jaws off my dinner.

And who would deny a royal Princess her well deserved scritches, occasional tummy rubs and whatnot?

And Mom L always makes sure my scratcher  is fully loaded with my fave nip…then I can just zone, zen out…..ahhh…

My life has not always been that of a Princess. Many of you have seen this photo before. And you will see it again as I continue to journal, here on my blog, about my recovery from kittenhood trauma. I am a survivor; but only just barely. This is my intake photo at the local kill shelter where I was dropped by humans who did not leave any information as to whether or not I was feral; stray or just an abandoned, no longer wanted house cat.

I believe I have earned the right to my royal castle. And Mom L and Dad P could not agree more. They will forever protect me and even if that means making sure I have my own time and space to have my meals free from worry about whether or not The Kid Sage will take away my food.

I am HRH Princess Savannah; I am safe
