I Cannot Believe It!! Can You??!!!

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

OH!!  MY!!  CAT!!!!

I AM A BLOGPAWS 2017 NOST-TO-NOSE PET BLOGGING AND SOCIAL MEDIA AWARD

FINALIST!!!!

SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Go ahead—you know you wanna touch that gorgeous badge below—PAW IT NOW! You will transport to view all the other 2017 Nose-to-Nose Award Finalists.

I felt like I had been hit smack in my nose when Mom L read the announcement to me. And the category I am in, well, gosh, it just makes me feel so humble. Ya see, I never thought about folks seeing my blog as a CAUSE BLOG. I guess I do get pretty riled up when I am sharing my Paw It Forward Projects or trying to get the work out to my readers when I see somethin’ that just isn’t fair to kitties who don’t have a voice. Why I have even loaned my voice to really deserving woofies when they needed help.

Hmmmm…THAT is what makes me a CAUSE BLOGGER! I care and care passionately about my blog posts that are intended to send a message or issue a CALL TO ACTION to help out other animals.

THANK YOU ALL for being my readers and giving me encouragement to share my “causes” with you. I wouldn’t be here without all of you.

I also wanna thank all those judges at BlogPaws for selecting my blog for this amazing honor. Sadly Mom L can’t get to that conference this year, but she and I will be there in spirit.

My Sunday Selfie is a photo I nominated for the 2016 Nose-to-Nose Awards. And Mom L made some really nice magnets she shared with folks last year. I hope you all like it. The only photo editing Mom L did was to get a bit more light.

This is the image she used to make the pawsome magnets. This says it all for me as a cat who is focused on giving a voice to all those companion animals in need. I am an adult shelter rescue cat and I try everyday  PAW IT FORWARD so others get the same lift up as I did.

Thank you BlogPaws for giving me this honor.

Just paw the badge below to transport to The Cat On My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

#BlogPaws Cat Swag Keeps On Giving

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!

Hey guys, I thought you might all appreciate learning how the tons upon tons of FAB Cat Swag ended up in California. This is of course the location of my home and castle.

This just gets better though, beyond what Mom L did with all the swag she brought home from #BlogPaws. Ms Marjorie from Dash Kitten visited me in my castle home and she also brought along some extra swag!

Ms Marjorie and Ms Chrissy from Kitty Corner—my former shelter

Kitty Corner had thirty kittens arrive the same week Ms Marjorie showed up with her excess cat swag.  As many of you know it is “kitten season” in our part of the world. I am proud to know my former shelter rescue helps our local public shelter in finding homes for many kittens.

These kittens so enjoyed all the extra special treats. I hope all my readers will stay long enough on my blog post to view this special slide show. Purrs to all who have time to view some of these enjoyable images.

Ms Marjorie was clearly enamored with the gray fluffy kitten, but then who wouldn’t be taken in by all the kittens and their joy for life. RESCUE ROCKS!

No One Asked Me—BlogPaws Give Away

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!

As usual, no one bothered to ask me, HRH Princess Savannah IF I wanted my #BlogPaws swag used as a GIVE AWAY! I bet’cha if you sent your human all that way to BlogPaws under your instruction to return with a FULL COMPLETE CAT SWAG BAG, none of them would dare wanna put that swag bag up for a give away! Right? Come on now, tell me I am right!

“What’s that Mom L?
Yeah, so you brought back TWO swag bags for me.
What’s the big deal. I gave one away already to my former shelter home Kitty Corner.
What’d’ya say under your breath there Mom L?
Well, of course I got two bags because Dad P was registered but had to stay home at the last minute, so you collected his too.
Did you say you think I have too much stuff? Why the very idea!”

What's mine is mine

Guess you already know how that little chat with Mom L ended. My blog title says it all—

give away sign

Now I may not look thrilled but in the end, I am truly pleased to offer a full complete, even over flowing, BlogPaws Swag Bag, with some Cat Writer’s Association swag added in, as a give away for my followers.

The SWAG!

The SWAG!

Guidelines for entering—

One—Leave me a comment telling me WHY you read my blog. Only one commenter per blog, BUT  that one commenter can return each day until closing and leave a simple “Hello” comment and I will enter the name more than one time.

Two—You can enter any time between now and Thursday, July seventh, at NOON PDST by returning to this post and leaving a comment.

Three—This give away is open worldwide with this proviso: if the winner is out of the USA, I will remove canned cat food and catnip and catnip toys. I regret having to do this, but it is likely the items will not make it through customs. However, I am happy to work with the winner, should they be from outside the USA, to determine what I can leave in.

Four—I will use Random.org to select a winner and the announcement will be on Friday blog post, July eighth.

Hope my guidelines are clear as mud…heh…heh!

And for those of you who may not know, we have a SUPERIOR CAT GUARDIAN as our house guest—actually we have TWO! Miss Marjorie and Mr Paul from Dash Kitten blog in New Zealand are staying with us before returning home.

Of course TKS had to check out their luggage before they could transport it upstairs.
