Hiya! Savannah Here Again
Well…just a really lazy Monday. First spent some quality time with Mom hanging out in bed this morning…she gives me so many pets and chin rubs and head scatches…puts me right into a trance!
Then she had to get goin’ to get to the gym…by the time I figured out she was leaving I looked up and said “hey! what about me?”
..and she just took my picture and blew me a kiss goodbye!
So then I hung out with Dad and had my brekkies next to his chair in our bedroom while he read the newspaper. He feeds me my brekkies and my din din next to his chair, ‘course for din din the chair is in our family room, not our bedroom. But I had brekkies with Dad (he is making sure he and I build a solid relationship and so I have to come to him for my food and eat while he is there…pretty good strategy, huh?)
Then later he gave me a really good long brush…and wham, I am totally out like a light…so I drug myself up to my bed in Mom’s office for my morning snooze…

Hi Savannah….sure looks like a nice sunny spot for that bed in your Mom’s office! Nice and cozy. It takes a lot of time to overcome bad experiences in our lives but you will in time I’m sure. I know there are a lot of things that I just don’t do that my parents wish I did (!!) but we’re all different and finding our way as best we can. Your folks are doing all they can to make you feel comfy, loved, and secure – you’re a lucky girl!!

thanks Sammy. I’m gonna post about how hard it is for us adult shelter rescue cats when peeps don’t understand what they are getting when they adopt us. Hope ya read it

Hey Sammy, catch my wordless Wed. photos! I got brave a tried out a new spot, on Mom’s pillow, for a nap place! She and Dad were so excited I had tried that spot out ‘cuz their beautiful Tasha, OTRB 3 mos. before they got me, she loved that very spot! Nice, Huh?
Ohhh! Pillows are nice and comfy and squishy – and I bet that was very special for your peeps to have you choose that spot. YAY!

Savannah, I am so happy for you! That’s great that Mom and Dad are taking such good care of you and giving you a peaceful home. And it was so much fun to read about a day that was simply good.
Oh gosh, thanks Susan. Just a nice day. I mean, I still don’t hang out in the family room at night like I used to…not sure why…and when Mom comes into her office and I am in my bed, I leave…don’t know why. Sad for both of us but hope I get over it. paw waves
